Chapter 10

Meri's POV 

we were interrupted by a knock on the door, not 5 seconds later the door busts open and we see Taylor and Lanie. " Hey Mer we just wanted to see if you were.... OK " i jumped up and banged my head against Aiden's. 

Shoving Aiden off of me making him fall off the bed my bra in full view of the people behind them. Pulling the shirt over my head and blushing a bright crimson. Moving my eyes from my lap i see Lane and Tay smiling. 

Bash Letting out a low whistle as Aiden let out an "ow " Taylor with her chuckle " well we leave this to you go ahead and make me an aunt would you. " "Me too!" Lanie says.  my blush getting darker and darker by the second. Throwing a pillow at the both of them yelling a quick "get out" Lanie ducked her pillow while Taylor got hit in the face by a black one.

The door slammed shut making me shake my head, the blush on my cheeks going down a bit. looking at Aiden his eyes focused with a cloudy look in his eyes. Knowing he was mind liking i threw his shirt at him. The door opened to Lanie saying a curt" love you leaving the door open as she left. 

he blinked, knowing his conversation ended, " you want to continue with their offer" he said with a smirk on his face.  " Listen just because we ended up making out and you marking me doesn't make me like you." Rain pouring down the glass window 

" 1st you rejected me without a second thought. 2nd you made me shift when i wasn't supposed to and almost caused me to turn into a siren.. and 3rd" i said poking his chest moving him closer and closer to the open door " I hate you " i shoved him out the room slamming my door yet again.

Sliding down the white oak door a tear sliding down my cheek. The rain pounding harder and harder against the glass frame. Shuffling my feet to the bathroom after locking the bedroom door pulling my shirt over my head and pushing the pants off my legs to see all the scars and old reminders of my past and what happened not even a year ago. 

what friends an family don't under stand is even though you may act happy and loving not broken and confused about how things may seem in your life you dot know what the hell your doing my hands running over the back lashes from the whip that ran down the top of my shoulders the the small of my back. still remembering the pain and torture i had to endure for a year. 

The knives slicing over my flesh and blood running down my body a reminder of the sadistic man wanting me for his own after i saw him kill a woman in our kingdom his old mate Dana one of our best friends. 

Flash back 

She had a dark maroon tail and black hair with dark eyes that seemed to hold the stars. 

She was forever secret about her mate and when he would ring in her head she would drop everything to be with him. The only thing she told us about her mate is that he was a vampire, a blood thirsty creature that sucked the life force of just about anything. 

he was killed on the beach after meeting him for the 3rd time that week we were shopping on the board walk in California and she had vanished from before us telling me Lanie and Tay she would see us at home. 

After dropping our bags back at Lanie's apartment  the girls said they would stay a while before returning underwater. 

Leaving me to walk alone back to the beach. It was around 12 at night when i heard Dana pleading for her life. On the white sandy shore the tide moving back and forth on the beach collecting some shells. 

She was on her knees crying before him. " Dana,you should know begging is beneath a woman of your stature. My pretty little mate on her knees for moi," he let out a dark chuckle  before continuing.

 " i would prefer you to sit like a happy little girl and not beg for something your master can't give you.. You know life is a precious little thing that should't be wasted. " He grasped her neck holding her flailing body in the air before dropping her for a while.  

"Nooo!" i yelling trying to make him stop before he picked her up again. " Meri run don't look back just run!" she yelled as he shushed her. i was rooted to my spot not able to move he dropped his hand from his spot and bit me. 

Dana let out a loud shriek begging for not her life any more just mine telling him she would do anything for him if he would just stop. releasing his teeth from my neck he turned to her, smiling like he had just won a prize. " Now why would i do that my daring, her blood tastes good. " blood pouring from my neck to the white top i had on essentially ruining the white sand beneath us. 

"Because i can give you something better. " " and what would that be?" he asked his interest was peaked. He dropped my body me feeling weaker and weaker by the second. Rain pouring down on us thunder over head " no please don't touch her..." i said in a weak attempt to make him stop. 

he turned and kicked me in the gut. Making me let out a strangled scream, he continued on  his way to Dana and bit her her body getting paler and paler by the second. Before her body went limp, he lifted her and swung her body onto his shoulder.

Flash Back over

Tears pouring from my eyes from thinking about Dana. How disappointed  she would be and how she would have probably kicked Aiden's ass after he rejected me marked me and tried to have sex with me albeit i was sort of enjoying that part, and Dana would probably stay with me and not let me forget that the people surrounding me loved me for me. After they found me Dana's Parents moved to the Human world and blended in with their other daughter who they adopted. 

Amanda she was Half Angel and Half Demon and was found on the beach near our kingdoms property with a note attached saying who she was and who her parents were and how she was next in line for hell she was around my age 17 turning 18 and was found when Dana was 2. 

After a year her parents came back explaining how she was cursed because of her parents and couldn't find love. she was powerful like me she could time travel which was scary when she first did that at the age of 3 so the witch my mom used for her tail gave baby Mandy a potion that would suppress her powers until she could control them or was 18. 

Her powers she could wipe out an entire town or city with the wave of her hand.

She like the rest of the supernatural creatures could telecommunicate or talk with their minds. Since she was little she always showed more kind than evil. Animals adored her and would protect her with their life. 

Her parents (birth) gave her up to protect her but she is going to be the next ruler of hell.

walking out of my bath room and into the closet i picked up my nightmare before Christmas onsie and laid in my bed thinking of Dana and that wrenched horrible man.
