Hello my Glorious Readers,

I have decided to ultimately restart the book under a new name, I have a better idea with the same concept (no rejection), just a better storyline and the ending. I have thought of is still going to be there I have just had a hard time getting to the point where I feel capable enough to write and have the thoughts all processed so it makes sense. The Title for this book will be changed to BLACK WATER. I love this title more as it is less Generic with some of the books out now, I will be posting the first few chapters in the next two weeks, hopefully you will like what I did, some character names will be changed, (I.e. Meri, and Adrian).

I love all of you and this is a well thought out choice.

New Description for BLACK WATER -

Mazikeen (Maze) Rivera, is a 25-year-old homicide detective she joined the academy at the ripe age of 18, she graduated high school at 15 and immediately after college she used her miraculous skills of deduction and the ability to see what usually can't be seen like missing links and the dead and she is an empath it didn't help that her mother and grandmother were witches in Puerto Rico, Her Gran used to call her a real life Sherlock. But never once in her life did the Seattle Detective imagine being the Mate to the Alpha King also known as his majesty Alpha King Dean Blackwater. she never thought that a bar fight would result in a relationship with the egotistical cold hearted feared man... well wolf.

I glanced around the nearly full bar my maroon skin-tight jeans showing off my ass and my shirt had a crisscross style to it showing off just an inch or two above my belly button, my assets were fully covered but that didn't stop the lust full stares going my way, I let out a sigh and sat at the bar in an old looking stool. "scotch two fingers, straight" my voice carried to the nosy bartender, I was finally off my shift and I was itching to beat someone to a pulp. He placed the glass in front of me and twisted the bottle, so the quick tap could pour the maple colored liquor. Putting the bottle back behind the bar he moved away tending to the area, taking occasional glances.

My right leg bouncing up and down my combat boots hitting the floor in a fast pace, I was never anxious, if I showed any emotion other than the constant resonating bitch face, it was either a good day or the end of the world. I looked around paying clear enough attention this time around there was a woman to the side of me about three seats down was a grieving widow trying to drown her sorrows in what was tequila by the name of the bottle, she clutched an engagement ring with her thumb and forefinger admiring it as if it were the only jewel in the world. To the right was a couple, Asian woman and white male, he was married she didn't know, she wanted what seemed to be a serious relationship while he wanted nothing more than a fling, his ring finger which still had a tan line from his wedding band clear in my view, that was too obvious, I wonder when she would figure it out. just as the thought left my brain he was doused in a Shirley temple and she grabbed her bag and coat leaving the bar. A smirk was present on my face, I liked analyzing people because it gave me something to focus on their problems and not me. The air was sucked out of the room when a woman grabbed another by the hair and tossed her over a table she hit the wall with a thwack making all heads turn their way three men all stood up one going straight to the girl the other two starting a brawl.

All I had wanted was a quiet night drinking, I didn't miss the group of men just watching the scene about 5 and they were all wearing suits most likely Armani or Gucci, something of that variety, no it was Armani I could see the tag in three suits, I let out a groan knocking back the drink, the scotch heating my throat before it went down, I slam the glass down scaring the people near me looking at the now six men, four of whom looked like ruffians fighting. shattering glass and a table or chair her and there. I stood from my stool making my way to the group pushing most of them apart before going to the ring leaders.

My voice raised I yelled out getting the attention of everyone, "I suggest that you gentlemen calm down" "or what girly" a growl was heard and I cracked my knuckles, pulling out my gold shield badge flashing it in the air my five 'five height not helping but eventually the entire bar knew I was a cop "I call my partner and back up, and all you fantastic... Gentlemen, will spend the next forty-eight hours in a jail cell." I find it hard getting out the word gentlemen without falling over in laughter, one of them grabbed my arm and another tried to hit me when the five men who wore Armani suits stood in front of me the sexiest with his brown hair and cinnamon colored eyes held the first of the scruffy idiots. I let out a sigh and dug into my black leather jacket and pulled out a couple of zip ties and zip tied the two men who tried to assault me the other four ruffians looked at me with sad eyes knowing what was going to happen. I grasped my cell from my back pocket my left hand on my hip showing my gun, my nine-millimeter Glock twenty-two. "Jamie I'm need you to bring a squad car and pick up two idiot that started a brawl fight," "where are you" I heard her voice through the speaker "2852 on first avenue" I say "kay" she replies most likely writing it down "take a uniform" I let out my voice bored with some sense of care to it "of course" I hang up the phone not bothering with goodbyes.

I turn to the men in the tailored suits "you didn't need to do that I could have apprehended them myself" I spoke to the main man his small beard still allowed his strong jawline and high cheekbones, he wore a gold Rolex watch on his left hand, his suit a deep navy blue the first two buttons of his white shirt were undone showing some skin and the handkerchief white, he color coordinated, simple, not overdoing it, cold features, not married, no tan line, his skin was a medium tan lighter than mine but not pale, Italian? no. Brazil? no. must be Spain; Yes, Spain I could recognize that. His friends guarded but not cold like him, strong I could tell that, definitely abs. I bent forward clutching my head in pain, the feeling of fear, despair, anger, depression, my mood plummeted, my Empathy had switched on, making me feel everything, I could literally taste Jamie's anger she wasn't happy but wouldn't question me, but I could feel hands on me bringing me to the bar not 2 miles away where I could feel the tree getting chopped down. I was brought back to worry, but happiness like the five men were happy they had found me, it had brought me here I clutched my head for another minute before my empathic ability shut down.

"Are you ok" his voice sent a shiver down my spine, I felt his hands grasp mine the shocks traveling up my arm and sending my stomach into a fluttering mess. I stood straight and nodded "fine just a headache nothing much." I say brushing it off. our eyes met they immediately suck me in my focus only on him, the sight brought me into a deep reverie....
