Feeling like i had been released from a trance i grabbed onto the last branch before pulling my body weight up onto it but before i could get the chance to see above the tree line i did the most cliche thing in a story. I fell....

Meri's POV: 

Falling and falling  my loose hair flowing all around my shirt flapping in the wind. The burning feeling on the front of my knee. My leg got caught on a branch but i was moving so fast it just sliced through my skin blood dribbling down my leg. 

I didn't even scream, I dont know why but i felt alive in  a way i hadn't ever felt alive before. Like a running feeling the wind enveloping me in a sweet caressing way.

Like the lulling of a mother shushing us to sleep my eyes drifting to a sloping shut and my heart stopping with the feeling of unity the feeling of strength in my bones our bones. my eyes slammed open the burning feeling in the back of my head the back of my soul. 

but finally i heard a scream but i knew it didn't come from my lips  it came from Mariana. I would know that piercing scream anywhere. I don't want to die but that pegs the question why did i fall? 

Even after i fell it felt like the world was moving slowly, as slow as a snail trying to get to the other side of the tracks before the train comes but is failing miserably. 

Feeling the intensity of familiar arms i dropped into them. feeling the sparks of my mates body against mine i relaxed into the arms of my soulmate.

I glanced up at the eyes the black eyes turning grey then blue. I shook my head looking back into his eyes seeing the blue eyes stair back at me. 

i was still in his arms the guys finally arriving i was placed on the ground my butt hitting the ground as my body faced towards the sky. 

Taking a deep breath i opened  my eyes to everybody looking down at me. Aiden was leaning against the elm tree. 

Standing on my feet and moving to the tree, i was pulled into a bone crushing hug, Aiden's face buried in the crook of my neck. Feeling the awkward feeling my hands were rooted to the sides of my waist.

The breath of my mates against my neck was reassuring like he cou... would protect me with everything he had. " Aiden we have to go back to school. " i saw my arms gently trying to push him away from me.

"not with that stunt, your lucky im not keeping you in your room for the rest of the day... The rest of them can head to school me and you are staying at the house." 

"ugh. come on it was a fall," " a fall you weren't afraid of. you weren't screaming. " 

Hearing the cracks and crunches of bones reforming. i knew i wasn't getting out of this one. The girls on their mates back while Olivia and Jermey were just sitting on he floor the brown wolves snuggled up together. 

Aidens shifting before my eyes his body reforming into a large black wolf laying on the floor he waited for me to get on before he stood up and he started to run back to the house. 

The group following behind us when we reached the house we slipped off of their backs and the girls pranced into the house...
