Chapter 16: Afraid

Meris POV

Think about the time you looked into someone's eyes and ended up grinning uncontrollably think about the last time you felt such a strong connection when you kissed that person, that made you fill up with happiness which makes you giggle uncontrollably even just a little. 

Think about the time when you wanted to held onto that  someones hand and thought about how it would feel to hold onto them forever. 

And think about the time you had felt so much love for that person that you couldn't do enough things to show them or even relies you had fallen deeper and deeper in love with them to the point when your spiraling out of control. 

waking up in darkness after a year of torture is not what you want to wake up to after you had been kidnapped.

The void of darkness mellowed out as i felt the gripping tightness of ropes tying me down to the metal chair.  But i have to remember when the hurt comes so does the happiness. My eyes filling to the brim with tears. I can't be here again i will not be his slave again i still have the scars of where he bit into me. 

Because of the 2 years of torture i believe i can never be happy again though. The metal door slams open. Pulling on the restraints i push the tears back looking the person in the eyes, not once looking away. 

" Vincent Nice to see you again. Never thought i would be back here. " i said looking around acting strong.

Flipping the switch the lights flickered on and off. " And i never thought i would be tasting your sweet blood again your highness" he hisses. Vincent came closer and closer his face coming inches away from mine. " Come on princess just tell me whats this little mark right here. " Vincent said before he ripped open my green hoodie. " oh come on this was my favorite hoodie." i whine as he touches my skin with the shimmering knife in his hands. " Poor little Vinnie lost more than a leg during the invasion didn't he. " his hand coming into contact with my face after i said the last word. 

" Come on you can hit harder than that can't you ." taking his good leg Vincent kicked me in the chest making me fly forward into the wall. 

" Come on Vince you know its all in the wrist." i say taunting him into grasping onto the metal of the blade throwing it at me hitting the wall making it embed in it. 

"oh you missed " i tease looking up Vincent was seething hearing the slam of the door i knew that Vincent had left. 

With Vince in the room i had never been more afraid than i was the past few months of my return. 

Vince was one of the main vampires that fed on me during the 2 years of my stay in  the Elcott Manor. Vincent Elcott Younger brother to the Mate of Dana every day of the 24 for months he came in at 6 in the morning, sometimes i got beat, sometimes fed on and, other times i was taken advantage of. 

The first time it was Robert, Robert Elcott his older brother he thought that was the best way of torture, to make me beg and plead for it to stop but Olivia helped me relies that the begging was their way of getting off after him for the first couple of months then more people joined in, sometimes 1 others 2 maybe 3 but the last couple of times the week before there was 5 that was the last time that i begged for mercy when 5 people 2 of them i didn't recognize  but the other 3 was Robert, Vincent, and Exander Francis. Roberts best friend. 

For the 3 months after i swear i saw them everywhere even in the water. Once every 2 weeks i was given 2 days of brake so i could regenerate my health.

I never wanted to be taken advantage of again, but im in this room again the darkness is always going to follow me every day for the rest of my life.  

I want them to kill me, to kill me so i never have to be alone in the darkness ever again but i know they want to torture me i know that they realized that death is two easy for me that they want me to suffer for as long as i can, but  i know something they dont. Alpha wolves can track their mates, their lunas. 

As soon as Aiden realizes that i'm missing his wolf will sniff me out and connect to me we don't even need to be fully mated because the full moon is in a week and a half  and his wolf will work harder to find me because if the full moon comes and we aren't mated then his pack will lose their luna and i will be in emencible pain, pain so undescribable that it will be hell on earth for the both of us. 

Moving my arm back and forth the rope was cut by the blade only centimeters away from my  body. The rope snapped and i pulled the knife from the wall cutting my other arm free and my legs from the metal chair holding me. But that only occurred before the door slammed open again and a shadow walked into the room.
