The Damundian village celebrated that evening with a grand feast in Doctor Caridad's home. The table was laden with an array of delicious dishes, and laughter filled the air as Rez and his friends recounted their recent adventures. As the festivities continued, they gathered around the TV to watch the latest news.

The broadcast reported that the national government had temporarily confiscated all the treasures and artifacts from the underground discovery. The news anchor highlighted the imminent plans to investigate the ancient artifacts further, emphasizing their historical significance.

Rez's attention was divided between the news and the markings on the restless shovel. He had been studying the shovel and after a thorough analysis, he concluded that the Damundian book was written in code. The markings on the shovel revealed a side-by-side translation from cryptic letters to the Damundian alphabet. Excited by his breakthrough, Rez shared his findings with the group.

"That's brilliant, Rez!" Fred exclaimed, impressed by the discovery.

But the celebration was short-lived. In the dead of night, the tranquility of Doctor Caridad's home was shattered by the sound of intruders. A group of shadowy figures clad in ninja suits stealthily broke in and stole the restless shovel. The sudden attack caught everyone off guard, but Rez quickly sprang into action. He managed to neutralize one of the intruders and, using the ninja's outfit and gear, followed the remaining assailants.

The ninjas led him to the Sanchez mine, and Rez stealthily entered a hidden underground lab where Doctor Demon Sanchez was at work. The scene before him was both alarming and horrifying. Sanchez was in the midst of preparing his nanobots, which were designed with a disturbing purpose. Rez realized that Sanchez's plan was to use these nanobots to exterminate three-quarters of the world's population. The nanobots had the capability to reproduce and spread through physical contact, potentially wiping out entire ethnic groups or families. When the time was right, Sanchez would activate the nanobots, unleashing a catastrophic wave of destruction.

Determined to thwart this diabolical plan, Rez sent a text message to the authorities, detailing the situation and requesting immediate assistance. He then set about destroying the lab. He found C4 explosives and meticulously placed them to ensure maximum damage. As he worked, Sanchez's men engaged in a fierce battle with the police who had arrived at the scene.

Just as Rez was about to escape, Sanchez discovered him. The two engaged in a brutal hand-to-hand combat. Sanchez, enraged and desperate, fought fiercely, but Rez's determination and skill allowed him to overcome the scientist. With a final, powerful blow, Rez knocked Sanchez unconscious. The police quickly apprehended him.

With time running out, Rez searched for the stolen shovel but found no trace of it. He had to leave the lab before the explosives detonated. As he exited, the set time came and the explosives detonated, causing a massive explosion that destroyed the entire lab and its sinister contents.

In the aftermath, the government returned all the Damundian artifacts to the village, specifically to the tribe, and allowed renaming their land as Damundian Village. Half of the treasures recovered were given back to the village, and Doctor Caridad was honored as the new chieftain due to his adoption into the tribe. Rez and his friends were celebrated as heroes, receiving accolades for their bravery and contributions.

Meanwhile, deep beneath the Damundo volcano, Datúrog-now fully transformed into the Shadow-was busy at work. He had melted down the Damundian shovel, adding unknown chemicals and substances to it. With a triumphant laugh that echoed through the entire cave system, he reformed the shovel into a new, more formidable version. His chilling laughter reverberated through the tunnels, signaling that the darkness was far from over.
