“There’s nothing we could do” doctor said to the family of the patient. Pulling the plug with the heart monitor going blank; The patient’s family cry as the heart monitor ringing echo. Two weeks passed, friends and family of the patient sitting on the chairs inside the church, while the funeral was setting up. When the burial is set, everybody in the church stands up and goes outside to mourn the patient. One by one saying their goodbye, and as the last family member says their words and their last goodbye to the patient. Lowering the casket they hear a bump; everyone goes silent, looking at the casket they see a slight movement.
When they removed the casket cover,  the patient got out with fear and confusion on his face. “Thomas!” the patient’s mother screams with pure happiness; hugging him tightly with the other family members joining after. But for Thomas, he was soulless, emotionless. His Father, looked at his face; seeing something wrong he asked “Are you okay, son?” “Yeah, Yeah, I’m good” he answers.  July 18th 2027 Thomas had something to say but didn’t know what time he could say it. He got famous overnight on a News Channel; every news reporters asking him questions. Every question asked by the reporters were too similar for Thomas. “What did you feel when you come back to life?” “can you hear your family speaking while you're dead?” “can you feel the sense of getting touch?” But one of the questions, makes Thomas frozen in place. “What did you see on the other side?” hearing that question, Thomas started to have a PTSD liked symptoms. His brother (acting like a bodyguard) stopped the reporters making sure his brother is safe. When they get to their aunt's house, Thomas sits down as the PTSD liked symptom gone down. Their aunt is very Religious, and her questions are involved on God. “did you see the afterlife?” “did you go to heaven?” “did you meet God” nonstop, asking him questions. Thomas brother tried to stop her; soo, that he’s little brother could rest. When their aunt stopped talking, Thomas and his brother went to Thomas’s room. Thomas lay down; his brother helped him clean his old room as he relaxed. Thomas was thankful for his brother, helping him on this weird evening. “Hey, Tom” his brother asked “are you going to work as a priest again?” with a soft tone, Thomas answered “I will someday”. As his brother left, Thomas looked at his Bible just staring at it, as longer he stare at the “Holy” Bible he felt a sense of dread. “No, no, no” Thomas said quietly “what is that thing I just see before my eyes” asking himself “does heaven even exists… does god exists?” “ what other side of life I have been lead in to?” “ I see no Heaven’s gate, neither god” “what Thing have I been praying?” at his breaking point he said “is heaven a lie, or did God abandoned us?”. As sorrow comes tears rain out pouring with confusion; when he comes down, he sleep to just forget the… memory.
