Vera groaned as she slowly opened her eyes and sat herself up from the snow with her dragons when she heard Hiccup's voice.
Hiccup: Everybody okay? Everybody here?
Ruffnut: What do you mean by " here "?
Vera then let out a slight sigh of relief when she saw that no one in the group, dragon or human, was hurt, but then she gave Hiccup a silent glare from under her helmet. Estrella gave Hiccup a slight glare as well while the six baby dragons were hiding under her wings to keep warm.
Snotlout: I have a question, Hiccup. What exactly is your plan to get a Snow Wraith tooth? Take it out of one of our dead bodies?
Tuffnut: ( a bit too hopefully: ) If all goes well, it'll be Ruffnut's dead body. And the Wraith tooth.
Hiccup: ( when he noticed that Gothi was writing something, not noticing that Vera had taken off her helmet and she was giving him a stern glare: ) Hold on, quiet. Gothi wants to tell us something.
Fishlegs: ( translating Gothi's writing: ) She says we should've left when we had the chance.
The group then heard a familiar roar in the distance...and saw Vera throw her helmet at Hiccup, and the helmet hits him in the back of his head.
Hiccup: Ow!-
Vera: ( as she picks up her helmet: ) March.
Hiccup: What?-
Vera: I said march! Just because we're stuck in this situation because of your stupid decision, doesn't mean we're going to stay out in the open and risk losing all of our lives. ( To the rest of the group: ) Now march. Do I need to start throwing my helmet again?
( Five minutes later )
The group were now in a cave that was nearby where the Snow Wraith had attacked them. Vera was currently searching for the emergency healing supplies she had packed into Estrella's saddlebags before she and the riders came to Glacier Island.
Snotlout: Okay, that thing was gnarly, ( quietly, to the rest of the gang so Vera couldn't hear him: ) and Vera is scary when she's mad. Hiccup, do us a favor, and don't piss her off again.
Hiccup only sighed in response as he glanced over to Vera, who gave him a slight glare before she went back to searching through Estrella's saddlebags while the three legged night fury was watching over the baby dragons while they were playing in the cave, causing Hiccup to turn his attention to Astrid, who was shivering.
Hiccup: Astrid, are you okay?
Astrid: Yep, barely.
Fishlegs: Hiccup, you know I want a shot at this as badly as you, but maybe Vera was right, we should get out of here. We're unprepared and we're just sitting ducks in this storm.
Hiccup was about to argue with Fishlegs, but Vera then saw the slight look of realization in his eyes, causing her to smile slightly.
Hiccup:W-Wait a minute.
Vera: ( quietly, to Estrella: ) Looks like the speed stinger made it to the rest of his pack.
