Vera was on the Edge by herself while the Dragon riders were off to help Berk with a scauldron issue. She was currently on her side of the island with the flock as they were working together with finishing her side of the island, the flock members were once again split up into squadrons.
Vera: ( to the flock: ) Alright, another day, another day's work. GlimmerSpring squadron, you're on fishing grounds duty, search for a spot in the islands' waters where we can get our fish without bothering the rider dorks. Firecutter squadron, you are on dragonet, eggs, new flock members, and wounded member watch duty, make the new members of our family feel comfortable and welcomed while I'm going to write down how many of them need prosthetics and make the prosthetics for them. Estrella squadron, territory claim duty, let the wolves and boars on this island take a hint they aren't allowed near our part of the island, and SkyFalcon squadron go with them. Puds squadron, resource duty, gather enough wood and stone for building materials ( as all the boulder class dragons were giving her hopeful looks: ) and yes, you may gather extra stone for the boulder class dragons to eat, just remember to stay away from quartz, you know it doesn't agree with any of your stomachs.
All of the boulder class dragons in the flock roar out in joy, making Vera and the other flock dragons laugh.
Vera: ( as she clapped her hands, getting the dragons' attention: ) Alright, that's enough goofing around. ¡Vamos!
The flock squadrons quickly went to do their jobs, causing a proud smile to form on Vera's face.
Vera: That's my family. Now...
Vera then went to the worktable she had set up and picked up one of the three thick journals that were on it and she picked up a charcoal pencil. She then opened the pages of the journal to reveal that it was a journal full of the names and the description of the dragons of the flock, and Vera turned to a blank page on the journal before she went to the new flock members, Wandering-Violin and the seven baby dragons began following her. The new flock members were huddled in one spot as they didn't know exactly what to do in the flock yet with Firecutter and his squadron doing their best to help them feel comfortable while watching other the eggs and the flock's dragonets.
Vera: ( to Wandering-Violin and her baby dragons, with a smile: ) Looks like we got our work cut out for us. Let's go give them a name, and make some prosthetics for those who need them to welcome them to the family. Let's get to work.
