It was morning, and most of the riders were awake except for Hiccup. Moose, Blizz, Pebble, Chopper, and the baby Scauldron were each staying by a rider and their dragons. Moose was watching Fishlegs make his model of his idea for the outpost on a shield with Meatlug. Pebble was play-fighting with Hookfang, who was pretending that the baby Terrible Terror was winning. Chopper was still asleep and was on Stormfly's back. Blizz was still asleep and was curled up beside Toothless. While the baby Scauldron was currently being carried by Ruffnut.
Blizz cutely yawned himself awake as he and the night fury rider duo finally woke up.
Hiccup: Ok, now, let's talk outpost.
Chopper then woke up and the baby dragons curiously watched the Dragon riders talk to each other, except for Pebble, she was still play-fighting with Hookfang.
Astrid: ( to Hiccup: ) Since you brought it up, I've been working on my designs. We'll set up look-out posts with interlocking fields of fire and-
Fishlegs: -never get any rest. But here, in my meditation garden...
Snotlout: Neither of those is S-shaped, did you not see my design?
Ruffnut: ( from behind Snotlout and Fishlegs, while she was still holding the baby Scauldron in her arms: ) Boar pit. Boar pit! BOAR PIT!
The baby Scauldron roared cutely every time Ruffnut said " Boar pit ", seemingly chanting with her.
Hiccup: Guys, guys, guys, guys, li-listen to me, Ok we need one idea. We can't design five different outposts. Orrr...can we? You know what? Boar pit, great idea!
The five baby dragons looked at each other with confusion in response to Hiccup agreeing with Ruffnut, and the other riders and their dragons were equally as confused as them.
Ruffnut: Whoaaa...what just happened?
Hiccup: S-shaped? I love it!
Snotlout: Don't freak me out, Hiccup! It gives me the willies...
Hiccup: I'm just saying let's all come up with a design that we each think is the best and then we'll vote on it. Does that sound fair?
The other riders only stared at Hiccup with shock.
Astrid: What are you up to?
Hiccup: N-nothin'! Nothing at all! Just trying to keep the troops happy. You know what they say, uh, happy troops are, uh, happy...groups...? Hey, uh, speaking of troops, Ruff, where's your other half and Smash & Grab?
Ruffnut: ( as she was still holding the baby Scauldron in her arms: ) Don't ask me! All me and Scauldy Junior know is that this boar pit is not gonna dig itself.
Astrid: Scauldy Junior?
Ruffnut: Yep, it's what I'm calling this little water boiler. Now, if you excuse me, Scauldy Junior and I have a boar pit to dig and I'm going make sure he doesn't dry up while we're digging.
( Meanwhile with Tuffnut and Smash & Grab )
Tuffnut and Smash & Grab were wandering around in the forest with the chicken following them, as they were determined to find Fearless and the giant dragon they had encountered the previous night.
Tuffnut: Ok, giant dragon, you are officially on notice, especially when you kidnap sweet little Fearless. Oh, you can run, but you can't hide. I guess you can fly, you can also run, you can run or fly, but either way you can't hide, because nothing escapes the watchful eye of-AH!
Tuffnut suddenly falls down a cliff with the chicken and Smash & Grab onlooking, Smash & Grab roared out for Tuffnut in slight panic.
Tuffnut: ( from the bottom: ) Oh, I am hurt, I am very much hurt!
Smash & Grab then flew down to Tuffnut, and they lifted him back up by holding onto the back of his shirt, once they reached the top the baby Zippleback gently placed the rider on the ground before they landed back on the ground beside Tuffnut.
Tuffnut: ( to the Chicken: ) Ugh. You couldn't have warned us?
Tuffnut then began walking away with the chicken and Smash & Grab following him.
Tuffnut: OK, so it's gonna be the hard way. Fine, that's the way I like it. Just ask the tiny Zippleback and the chicken...
Smash & Grab and the chicken then stopped and the chicken squawks, and Tuffnut stopped just in time before he could fall off another cliff while Smash & Grab glanced around as they had caught a wiff of six familiar scents.
Tuffnut: Whoa! Ha! Ha! See? Oh, yeah, Tuffnut Thorston is locked in now, he ain't falling off another cli-
Wasp and the other Deathgrippers then came out from a giant bush and he pushed Tuffnut off another cliff while the other Deathgrippers went to the baby Zippleback was okay, causing Tuffnut to hang onto a hanging branch on the side of the cliff for dear life and causing the chicken to faint out of fear. Wasp raised one of his raptorial forelegs in the air, readying to slash at Tuffnut, thinking he was a hunter, but Smash & Grab quickly stopped him by going up to him and using their heads to push the male Deathgripper away. The six Deathgrippers looked at Smash & Grab with confusion, but they quickly looked at the baby Zippleback with understanding when they told the Deathgrippers about that Tuffnut was a dragon rider not a hunter and about what happened to them last night and that Fearless was taken by the giant dragon they saw last night. Once the Deathgrippers understood the situation, Wasp quickly pulled Tuffnut back up by the back of his shirt gently with his raptorial foreleg.
Tuffnut: ( while looking at the Deathgrippers after Wasp placed him down on his feet gently: ) Uh... Oh, I get it, you're some of Vera's dragons and mini Barf & Belch's friends. Gotcha... Well, even though you six are wickedly scary, any friends of the baby dragons are friends of mine. You guys can help us rescue Fearless, yeah bad news, he got kidnapped by a giant dragon, but don't worry I'm sure we'll find them.
Smash & Grab they lifted the unconscious chicken and placed her on their back as they and the Deathgrippers began following Tuffnut when he continued walking through the forest.
Tuffnut: ( to the Deathgrippers: ) By the way, nice scars, they make you look more intimidating than you guys already are! I see why you're Vera's dragons, she's very intimidating but don't tell the others, but I can tell she has some mental scars.
The Deathgrippers shared a surprised look in response as they continued following Tuffnut while Smash & Grab looked at the six adult dragons and the Dragon rider with confusion as to what Tuffnut was talking about.
