The special summer class with the first years had officially begun. His heart pounded in his chest, the situation feeling so real because of the environment Ground Beta offered and the fact that they were all in hero costumes. He had to remind himself that this was just a class and that all of it was fake but still needed to treat it like an actual situation.

Todoroki took out his phone and dialed a number. The phone rang for just a moment before someone picked up.

"Who is this? The fuzz?" A male voice asked, his tone condescending.

Todoroki pulled the phone away from his ear. "All Might's pretending to be the criminal," He let everyone know.

Motomiya hadn't realized that the teachers would be playing roles as villains and civilians. The again, it did make sense that they would have that role.

Todoroki placed the phone back to his ear. His face then became even more serious. "I'm a pro hero. And you are?" He asked.

"Pro shmo. I'm not impressed," All Might said unimpressingly.

Midoriya turned to Uraraka. "Tell us how many villains are on your right hand and how many hostages are on your left," He instructed Uraraka in almost a whisper.

Uraraka nodded. "Yeah, okay." She put her hands together, her fingertips glowing a light pink, and then floated her way up to the store window that was near the roof.

He could still hear Todoroki and All Might, who was pretending to be a villain, talk on the phone, but he couldn't quite make out what they were saying anymore. All he could hear were arrangements about the hostages and angry bantering.

"Very well. But first, I need information on who you've got inside," Todoroki said. He must have made a deal with the villain. "Is anyone hurt?" He then asked.

"Someone will be if you don't stop taking your sweet time!" All Might yelled over the phone. "Hurry up and get lost, damn it!"

Motomiya gulped. He wanted to do something to help, something to be useful, but nothing came to mind.

From atop the building, Uraraka held up one finger on her right hand and three on her left.

"One villain and three hostages," Midoriya let them know.

"Nice, Uraraka. Stay there and wait for us!" Iida whispered loudly while making hand gestures to let his classmate know the plan. Uraraka then made an O shape with her arms.

Midoriya gasped. "Quick, hide!"

Motomiya stepped back behind the building with the others while Midoriya poked his head out from around the corner. "It's All Mi-- I mean, the bad guy," He told them.

"He's checking to make sure that everyone's gone," Todoroki pointed out.

"In that case, we need to stay hidden," Asui said, "We can't put those hostages in danger."

"Yeah. What should we do? We need to help the hostages," Motomiya asked, hoping someone would answer.

"Think there could be a back way inside?" Iida asked the group.

The first major decision that they needed to make had begun. They needed to choose to either contact the villain and attempt to persuade him or rush in and catch the villain by surprise.

While trying to figure out what to do, Bakugo let out a frustrated yell. "This is stupid!"

"Bakugo, calm down!" Iida said with slight worry.

"You're planning to charge straight in?" Todoroki asked.

Bakugo let out a huff. "Obviously." He walked to the edge of the alley they were all in. "I'll fire off a bunch of explosions and take down that villain. You guys can save the hostages or whatever, I don't care!" He shouted.
