"Quiet down Cash you're going to wake her up." Levi whisper shouts at his dog.
I flutter my eyes open right as Cash stops barking, I stretch my arms out and look up at Levi, still laying on him.
"Shit- sorry Cash spotted a squirrel from outside the window." He nervously runs his hand through the back of his hair.
"No don't worry, Its okay." I smile sleepily.
I look over at the Tv to see that Levi is watching some kind of outdoorsy youtube video.
"How long was I asleep for?" I yawn as I sit up straight, his poor arms are probably numb by now.
"Probably about 3 hours, not too long. I was actually just about to carry you to bed." He stretches his arms, finally free of me.
"Did you finish the movie?" I smirk, hoping he says yes.
"I did actually, it was pretty good."
"Did you cry?" I interrogate him.
"No sweetheart, I didn't." He chuckles softly before standing up to stretch.
I frown, I'll crack him one day.
I'm wide awake now, that nap being in Levi's arms felt like a full nights sleep.
An idea pops into my head, I should probably get air anyways.
"Psst, Cash!" I pat my leg.
He jumps up off of his doggy bed and runs over to me.
"Do you want to go outside?" I baby voice him with a huge smile on my face.
He barks and wags his tail, giving me the green light.
"Can I take him outside?" I look over at Levi.
"Yeah, but not alone." He walks over near the front door to slip a pair of shoes on.
I realize I'm still only in a long shirt and my panties, I didn't think this one through did I?
The shirt is long and we're only walking right outside, It'll be fine.
I get up and slip on my shoes and by then Levi is already attaching his leash.
"Cmon buddy let's go." Cash bolts out of the front door as soon as Levi opens it.
I quickly follow behind them, tucking my hair behind my ears.
Cash leads us down the pathway and to a big patch of grass to our right.
Cash starts doing his thing and Levi turns his attention to me.
"Are you feeling better?" He questions, pulling me to his side.
"Yeah, sorry that you had to see me like that. I would've just left with my car but my mom took it to work."
"Don't apologize, I'm more than happy to be here for you and you know that." He leans over and kisses me.
I kiss him back with a smile on my face, he really makes me happy and he doesn't have to do much to achieve it.
We walk as Cash sniffs every singular piece of grass, typical dog behavior.
"Cash, wrap it up." Levi snaps and Cash finally starts walking back toward the apartment.
It's a slow walk back of course considering we stop so he can sniff and pee on every bush.
I take Levi's hand in mine as we finally make it back up the stairs and into the apartment.
I detach the leash and Cash takes off to his bed and lays down.
