It's night, the guards were asleep on duty as Mama Ashley slowly clacked her heels down the hall, key card in hand. She reached Dylan's door, checked her surroundings and slid it under, gently she knocked on the door twice. Walking back, she reached Fae's room, folded up a note, as she wrote ''Keep safe. Open when out.'' and slid it under Fae's door. With a sigh so deep, she walked to the elevator.

Dylan woke up, rubbing his eyes to clear away his blurry vision after he heard the two soft thuds on the door. It was time.

He saw a small white rectangular plastic on the floor but couldn't quite figure out what it was. He got out of bed, and on to the floor as he reached for the plastic, that was revealed to be the keycard. He grinned, a smile stretching from cheek to cheek. Now he needed to wait for Lamark.

He got closer to the door, and put his ear on it and listened into the silence of the night. When he heard nothing, he laid his head on the floor and looked through the small space between the door's edge and the floor. The cold wind hitting his face with every breath he took.

He saw dark footsteps in the hallway. It was Lamark. He moved away from the door. Dylan could hear mythical sounds as Lamark transferred into his Goat self, and made his device. Dylan could see tiny blue yellow particles about in the air as Lamark crafted.

After a few moments, he stopped and Dylan could hear something slot in the key holder. The door swung open and revealed Goatface standing at the end holding a manifested yellow-blue key.

Dylan stood up and hugged him tightly before pulling away and grabbing his shoulders. "How did you do that, Lamark?" Dylan asked him in amazement.

"I... thought outside of the box." Lamark smiled pleasingly as he finally understood the meaning behind one of Dylan's "strange" sayings.

Dylan laughed and patted his shoulder. They had to hurry. Lamark led Dylan to the elevator where he would go down, to the Bottom Floor and save the outcasts.

Once they reached the elevator they stopped. Lamark wasn't going to go down with him. "I got this. Go wake up Melissa, Linda, Manny, Fae and Evan. Now and quick."

"I won't let you down. I got this Dylan." Lamark promised Dylan.

Dylan scanned the keycard and waited for the doors to open. The elevator reached his level, and with a ding, the doors slid open. He walked inside.

Standing inside the elevator, underneath the gloomy white light he waited for the doors to close again. He pushed the button to the floor he would be going to and waited.

After a few moments, the doors closed. Dylan felt the motion as he was taken down to a floor well known.

Once he reached the ground level, the doors opened again. He stepped outside cautiously and watched to see if any of the guards were near the door.

He jogged silently along the wall as he watched to see if anyone were to appear. Slowly, as he reached the end he stopped at the curve of the intersection and looked for the guards.

One of the guards were coming from his room, so he quickly ran down the hallway to the outcasts. He ran with a bit more speed but as he had done so he bumped into the second guard. "Stop right there!" A gun was aimed at him. He raised his hands slowly.

He attempted grabbing the tip of the gun, but the guard stretched out his foot and kicked Dylan to the ground. He held his gun up and aimed but Sergey came and knocked his head.

The guard fell to the ground with a thud. Sergey smiled when he had seen Dylan on the floor.

He picked up Dylan from the ground as if he were nothing and squeezed him.
