• I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is

BUCKY SAT ON ONE of the chairs in their little office as he stared at the old tv in front of him. There were basically hundreds of those all around the base by now. Tony was working with Darcy, Sam with Woo and Natasha was in the main room of the base, so Bucky was left alone in the office.
He had been working nonstop, they all had. Now all he had been doing for the past hour, though, was sit there and watch that sitcom. Or actually, watch some 1940s version of him live the life he always wanted, he always deserved, with the love of his life that somehow hadn't died and had been trapped in that strange reality.
"It's a girl", Geraldine told them with a smile and the two laughed softly at that, tears in their eyes. Slowly Geraldine passed the little girl to Cameron and she held her carefully close to her.
"She's beautiful", Bucky said with teary eyes as he looked at his daughter.
"You wanna hold her?", Cameron asked her husband with a big smile and he nodded slowly. Carefully she passed her to him and he held her tightly close to his chest.
"So, what's her name?", Geraldine asked them with a smile.
"Rebecca", Cameron said with a smile. Bucky's heart dropped at this and he looked at her with a shocked smile.
Bucky could feel as a small tear slid down his cheek. They couldn't have kids and seeing that somehow in this reality it was actually happening he felt almost jealous of that 'version' of him. They had talked about it, a lot, especially when they were hiding in Amsterdam for those two years. They always wanted a family together, they deserved it, but they loved each other and even if they couldn't have kids what they had was enough for them.
