ANIRUDH

My car screeched to a halt in the desolate area, hidden from the prying eyes of the guards stationed outside the warehouse. I peered through the window, scanning the surroundings. The guards were armed, their expressions cold and unyielding. They hadn't noticed me yet; my car was just far enough to be out of their sight but close enough for me to see them clearly. I reached into my pocket and turned on the hidden camera, then stepped out of the car, heart pounding in my chest.

I took a deep breath, formulating a plan. There was no room for error. I couldn't let Bondita down. With determination, I started walking towards the guards. As they spotted me, they exchanged a suspicious glance. One of them pulled out a gun, but I was faster. I kicked him in the stomach, causing him to drop the weapon. The other guard rushed at me, but I grabbed his fist and twisted it, landing three powerful punches.

In one swift motion, I picked up the fallen gun and pointed it at them, growling, "Fucking let me in."

The guards hesitated, exchanging nervous glances. One of them moved to open the door while the other reached for his gun. I didn't wait. I struck him on the head with the gun's butt, the sickening thud echoing in the stillness as he crumpled to the ground. The door creaked open, and the other guard made a move to attack. I caught his kick, nearly losing my balance, but quickly recovered, delivering a brutal punch to his stomach, then his face. With one last hit using the gun, he fell unconscious.

I stepped through the open door, my heart racing as I entered the dimly lit warehouse. My eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness, and what I saw made my blood run cold. Bondita lay on the ground, her eyes closed, tear-streaked cheeks reflecting the dim light. Over her, Varun fucking Sharma, his hands on her torn clothes, ripping them further. My blood boiled, and my grip on the gun tightened, my knuckles white with fury.

Without thinking, I aimed the gun at the ceiling and fired a warning shot. The deafening sound echoed through the warehouse, freezing Varun in his tracks. He looked up, startled, anger flaring in his eyes as he yelled, "Who the fuck are you, man?"

I pointed the gun directly at him, my voice low and deadly. "Consider me your fucking end! Get the fuck away from her!" Varun hesitated, then slowly stood up, raising his hands in mock surrender.

I rushed to Bondita's side, dropping to my knees. "Sunshine..." My voice broke as our eyes met. She looked at me, her eyes red and puffy, face bruised and battered. She tried to speak, but no words came out, only tears. I gently lifted her into my lap, holding her close as she sobbed into my chest. I stroked her back, whispering, "... I'm here, Sunshine. I'm here. You're fine. I'm with you."

But our moment was shattered by the sudden, sharp sound of a gunshot. I instinctively rolled over, shielding Bondita with my body. Pain shot through my arm, and I looked down to see blood soaking my sleeve. I'd been grazed, but the bullet hadn't lodged. I gritted my teeth against the pain, keeping Bondita close.

Varun stood there, a sneer on his face, holding a gun. My rage boiled over. I reached for my gun with my injured hand, ignoring the burning pain, and fired at Varun's legs. He screamed, dropping his weapon as he collapsed. I shot again, hitting his other leg. Bondita clung to me, trembling with fear.

I looked down at her, her eyes closed tightly, face buried in my chest. "Sunshine, hold on to my neck tightly," I whispered. She opened her eyes, confused but obedient. I kept the gun in one hand, just in case, and with a surge of adrenaline, I stood up, cradling her in my arms. She wasn't heavy at all, her weight a small burden against the storm in my heart.

We moved towards the exit, and as we stepped outside, I saw Dev and his police team rushing towards us. They skidded to a stop, Dev's eyes widening in shock. "Oh my God, you both are badly injured... We'll handle this. Go to the hospital with an officer!"
