Lucy POV:

a few days had passed since Leah met my family. 

We had each spent Christmas Day with out respective families, and while was all I could of asked for, I missed her.

the holiday break had been a whirlwind of activities, family gatherings and chaos, leaving little time for us to see each other. but today, finally, we were together, nestled on Leahs sofa, watching a film.

the apartment was dimly lit and the heating was on high, creating a festive and cozy atmosphere. Leah had her arm draped around me and I was snuggled into her side.

The film played in the background, but my mind was only half-focused on it. Instead, I was thinking about Leah and how much I enjoyed being with her. I turned my head slightly to look at her, noticing how the light from the TV reflected in her eyes.

Leah must have sensed my gaze because she turned to me with a smile. "What are you thinking about?" she asked, her voice soft and tender.

"Just how nice it is to finally have some time with you," I replied, smiling back.

She squeezed my shoulder gently. "I know what you mean. It feels like it's been ages."

We sat in comfortable silence for a while, simply enjoying each other's presence. Then, Leah spoke up, her tone casual but curious. "Hey, I just realized I haven't asked you what your New Year's plans are."

I perked up at the question, excitement bubbling inside me. "Oh! I completely forgot to tell you. My two best friends from America, Holly and Megan, are flying in tomorrow! Mum and Dad announced it on Christmas, they organised the whole thing"

Leah's eyes widened with surprise and delight. "Really? That's amazing, you'll have so much fun"

"ive missed them. of course I have you, my family and some of the arsenal girls, but I still dont really feel like ive found my 'girls' yet, you know?"

I couldn't help but grin at the thought of seeing holls and megs.

"where are you going to take them?" Leah asked, making me realise that on such short notice I hadn't actually got much time to plan anything.

"we aren't planners, we'll just go with the flow, all I know is that they'll want to experience the London nightlife for new years eve, and recover at mums on new years day, apart from that, who knows"

Leah nodded and smiled, I could tell that she was excited for me

"what about you, what are your new years plans"

"mums on new years day and I'm with Alex and a few others for new years eve, no idea the plan though"

Leah paused for a second

"dont feel like you have to say yes.. but would you maybe want to combine our new years eve plans?

"I dont think your ready for that" I laughed, suddenly noticing Leah's smile dissapear

"oh, no. le, i diddnt mean it like that, I just meant that me megs and hols, you won't know what to do with us, they bring out a side of me that doesn't come out very often" I joked

"but yes, to answer your question, id love to spend new years with you, are you sure Alex won't mind?"

"shes dying to meet you, she won't mind at all" Leah said, the smile reappearing 

We talked for a while longer about plans for Holly and Megan's visit, our excitement building with each passing moment. Eventually, the film ended, and the credits rolled on the screen. Leah turned off the TV and shifted so that she was facing me more directly.

"do you want to go to my room?" she said nervously. I nodded in response

We both knew what was about to happen, but it diddnt make it any less scary. we hadn't reached that stage in our relationship yet, and I was glad we didn't rush into it, but I couldn't help but feel that maybe doing it drunk or something would of been easier

Leah took my hand and lead me through her apartment until we reached her room. we entered and she shut the door behind her.

I sat on the bed, nervously, not really knowing what to do.

"I've got you, luce" Leah said as she put her hand under my chin to lift it up, now standing in-between my legs

she pushed me back onto the bed and kissed me passionately.

her hands started to wander and found my waistband.

"let me" I said, pushing Leah off me

"close your eyes" I continued

I slowly took my clothes off, leaving me naked and vulnerable.

my heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest

I moved back towards Leah and grazed her Cheek with my hand. she opened her eyes and a small smirk.

"your so beautiful" she said as she stood up to kiss me, except this time the kiss was more powerful

she started to take her own clothes off, only breaking the kiss when her top had to come over her head

she took control and pushed me down onto the bed 

she held her self above me and kissed down my neck and along my collar bone.

it felt so good, I couldn't help but let out a few moans

she then moved down to my breasts, making me moan even more

with one hand still on my breast, she took the other and moved it to my thigh, massaging the area.

I tried to squeeze my legs together, out of habit, but Leah didn't let me

Leah had slowly moved down my body, tracing kisses down my abdomen, reaching my thighs

"are you sure" she asked

I nodded, looking her in the eyes

she didn't hesitate

it didn't take long before I was throwing my head back and moaning Leahs name and I let out a big sigh

Leah moved so that she was next to me and a smile took over her face

"dont look so smug" I said

"what, you've kept me waiting Long enough" she joked

"first and last ever time then" I joked back

"You know," she said, her voice taking on a more serious tone, "I've been thinking a lot about us."

My heart skipped a beat, a mixture of anticipation and nervousness flooding through me. "Yeah? What about us?"

Leah took my hand, her touch reassuring. "I really like where things are going between us, Lucy. You make me so happy, and I just want you to know that I'm all in."

A wave of emotion washed over me, and I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "I feel the same way, Leah. You've made everything so much better, I'm all in too."

I'd be lying if my I wasn't worried that Leah was going to ask me to be her girlfriend. my head was still getting the hang of this whole dating a woman thing. I just wanted it to all be perfect, it isn't a never, its just a not now.
