Zayn's POV

A couple of days later after we finished the racing season we were back in London at the hotel preparing for the press conference that Tree Paine, my new publicist, had arranged.

In the conference room, cameras flashed, and reporters bombarded her with questions. Tree stood by, ready to intervene if things got out of hand. I was so nervous about what was about to happen but I was ready.

I took a deep breath as I sat behind a big table in front of everyone. I looked at the back of the room and Harry was there. A wave of tranquility came over me as I saw his face smiling assuredly at me and mouthing: "You got this, I love you." And that made my heart smile as well.

"Thank you all for coming," I started, my voice steady but my heart racing. "We summon you to this conference because I know there are a lot of questions and of course, expectations for the coming year, and me and my team we are here to answer them."

"Zayn, what led to your breakup with Nicky?" a reporter asked.

I took a deep breath. Here we go.

"Well, Nicky and I decided to part ways because it wasn't fair to continue a relationship when our heart wasn't fully in it. We both deserve to be with someone who makes us truly happy."

"Is there a third party involved? We've seen you a lot this year with Harry," another voice called out. "Does he have anything to do with your decision?

"The decision was made by Nicky and myself only. And regarding Harry, we have a deep connection. We've been through a lot together. He is a very important part of my life and well after my break up, having his support through this time was invaluable," I said drinking a sip of water.

"After the incident with Sainz earlier year, there were a lot of rumors about Zarry being real. What can you say about this?" another reporter followed up. I glanced at Harry he gave me an encouraging nod.

"I think the Zarries have everything figured out. What else can I say about Zarry?" they chuckled. "Well, I can say that these last months we've discovered another phase of our relationship, my feelings for him are deeper and we're very happy together. So, yes, I can confirm Zarry is real." I said smiling.

The room buzzed with whispers and they began to shoot a lot of questions and I just heard a lot of clicks of cameras. Tree stepped in, guiding us through the more difficult questions and ensuring we stayed on track until
the end of the session.

After the press conference, we retreated to Harry's flat, exhausted but relieved. It felt like a huge step forward, even though we knew there was still a long way to go.

That night, as we lay in bed, Harry turned to me. "You did great today," he said softly.

"Thanks," I replied, feeling a warmth spread through me. "So did you."

"We'll get through this, "He leaned in, kissing me gently intertwining his hand with mine.

"Wait, you put on the promise ring that I gave you," I said surprised.

"Yes, I did. Today seemed a good day to do so," he said.

And with that, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as we had each other, we could face anything.

Harry and I had finally stepped into the light together, and the support from our families and friends was overwhelming. As the end of the year approached, we decided to bring everyone together to celebrate not just the holidays but also our newfound freedom and acceptance.

For Harry was a little smoother, he was already known for his bisexual relationships, he didn't have to label himself publicly or come out as I did but it was important for me, to acknowledge him as my partner.
