The Coronavirus Drama- REYNA

-Again, this is set before the Percy Jackson series, so Jason is Praetor.

January 25th

Some questers reported to me that the mortals were wearing masks over their faces and social distancing. Me and Jason sent search groups out, and they all confirmed that there is a mortal pandemic. I don't know what this means for the legion

January 27th

We had a Senate meeting today. We have agreed for a nine day isolation period for anyone who enters the camp or becomes infected. Search groups have confirmed that this 'Coronavirus' is a global pandemic.

January 28th

Me and Jason told the rest of the legion about this. The mortals have nicknamed it 'covid 19''. We are sending cleaning and hygenienic practises into overdrive.

February 1st

The new practises are official and are being launched into action as of tomorrow.

-Anytime a legionnaire enters a facility in the legion, hand sanitisation or hand washing is MANDATORY

-Once you finish using any piece of war equipment, or are ready to give it to a new person, you must thoroughly wash it down

-If anyone enters the camp, they must isolate for nine days.

I hope no one gets sick, but we have bought a supply of mortal covid tests. Not sure they will work on demigods/legacies though

February 2nd

The new rules are causing controversy. Some people say that the rules should have already existed, others think that this is something that shouldn't affect us. Others don't care.

February 5th

A new camper came today- Frank Zhang. He arrived with Lupa. I haven't seen him yet, since he is now in Day One of his isolation. I do plan on asking him about how the mortals are doing.

P.S: I do not know what cohort he will be in. Probably fourth? His last name seems familiar though- for bad reasons.

P.P.S: I remember now. I hope Octavian doesn't grill him.

February 12th

Frank Zhang joined our cohort today. He apologized to me for his ancestors doing. I'm glad that he recognized what he needed to do, though I don't think he 'needed' to apologize, since it -technically- wasn't his fault.

In terms of covid- people are dying. I asked him not to spread word about it. The last thing me and Jason need is for people to avoid him.

February 16th

Oh no. A first legion demigod caught the virus today. Not Franks fault, though I can see how people would blame it on him. I think it might be through the food- we get the supplies of our food from mortals. Will mention at the Senate meeting.

P.S: The demigod is isolating for nine days, regardless of how bad their symptoms are. We asked the people in her barrack to take a Covid test- two were positive. It seems to spread quickly.

February 20th

Well, the Senate meeting happened. The demigod was mentioned. I told them it could be through the food supply. No, of course it is Franks fault. Jason attempted to back my theory. Nope, Frank. I told them that Frank isolated for more than a week. Jason said that even then, Frank could have been put in ANY cohort and the higher-ups were being biased.

We were kicked out of the meeting.

I fear for poor Frank.

February 21st

Everyone has been avoiding Frank. I don't know what to do. As praetor, I feel responsible. Jason says it's the higher-ups fault for not 'listening to logic'. I told him we need to keep our heads down.

March 6th

A new demigod arrived. I don't know much about her, she's isolating for nine days

March 15th

Hazel Levesque entered the fifth cohort. I hope the legion doesn't avoid her.

March 17th

Everyone is avoiding Frank and Hazel or teasing them, as expected. Jason and I have been trying to set an example or tell the legionaires off, but nothing is working. Frank and Hazel seem to like talking to each other though.

March 20th

The cohort is beginning to warm up to Frank and Hazel. I hope this virus is over soon.

March 25th

Jason disappeared today. No idea why, or how. I woke up and he wasn't in the Praetors apartment, which was weird. He didn't come to training and wasn't anywhere in Camp Juipiter, or New Rome for that matter. Terminus and Juilia say they never saw Jason crossing the border....

P.S: maybe its godly interference? I don't know what the grand scheme of things is, but the gods have been silent recently....

March 26th

The higher-ups say we can't search for Jason. They say that if we send search groups into the mortal world, they could become infected and then come back and infect camp. I don't know what to do.....
