~AKSHITA~

I stepped out of the car, before grabbing my luggage which was on the backseat.
The journey went by with Yug chattering non stop and me being lost in my thoughts. Although, there was not even a single second I didn't felt his intense gaze on me.

The day before yesterday when Maa asked me to shift to their mansion, I was taken aback for a moment. I denied her at first, but she had already made up her mind about the decision.

She was insisting so much that I was unable to deny her and ended up agreeing to her demand reluctantly.

The reason why I don't want to stay here is that I don't want his family to get bothered by me in their own house. Moreover, I'm a stranger, at least right now.

As Avyay and Yug walked beside me, Avyay'd voice caught my attention, "Chalein?" He slipped his palm into mine, surprising me, and started walking towards the main entrance.

[Lets go?]

Yug was continuously talking to his jiju, while he, shockingly, was listening to him with focus. He even replied Yug from time to time as if he's hella focused in his talks.

As we walked further, I saw an old man, almost in his mid fifties. He was holding a watering can in his hands and was watering the flowers in garden which was just outside the entrance.

There were several types of flowers but roses were the most eye-catching and captivating.

"Aaiye chhote malik.." The old man smiled, showing his front teeth and bowing down a little.

"Kaka, Kitni baar kaha hai, aap hamare saamne mat jhuka kijiye. Hume bilkul achcha nhi lagta," Avyay spoke, determination in his voice as he immediately stopped the old man, holding his shoulders and respect reflecting in his eyes.

[Uncle, how many times I have told you, don't bow down in front of me. I don't like it at all,]

I felt a tinge of esteem and
admiration flowing in me witnessing his actions.

Yug and I greeted the old man before we reached near the entrance. Avyay knocked on the twice, and waited there. After almost half of a minute, the door swung open revealing Kritika, whose lips stretched into an ear to ear smile the moment she saw us.

Before I could process, she jumped into arms, and hugged me tightly. Due to the sudden force, I stumbled backwards only to get bumped into him, accidentally. His hands automatically reached out to hold my upper arms firmly to steady me, and I composed myself.
