Tumpe hi aa ke rukta tu

Humko kya lena hai sabse
Tumse hi sab baate ab se

Author's Pov

As Akshita and Avyay approached Chhaya, they bowed down to touch her feet, seeking her blessings. Their luggage lay nearby, while the family members watched the heartwarming scene unfold with content smiles.

The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, filled with their casual chatter. Akshita and Avyay were set to embark on a journey that could potentially bring about a new experience or create an unforgettable memory.

"Have you packed warm clothing, Akshita? Its likely to be cold there" Chahat inquired, concerned about the chilly weather. Akshita nodded affirmatively.

Amira approached her, a hint of mischief dancing in her eyes, though her demeanor remained composed.

"You must be excited, na?" Amira said, gently adjusting Akshita's hair, who looked at her with a perplexed expression.

"Don't try to play innocent, Devrani ji," Amira teased, her voice laced with mischief. "I know very well how eagerly you both had been waiting for this moment."

Amira was fully aware of the truth now, but there was no way she'd let such a golden opportunity slip away. Akshita, on the other side, immediately caught on to her words, but chose to play along-determined not to grant Amira the satisfaction she was looking for.

"What are you talking about, Bhabhi?" Akshita responded, her face overflowing with confusion, slightly wide eyes and an expression of practiced innocence. "Your words are just flying right over my head."

Amira made a face that said, "Oh really?", before she threw her hands into the air, trying as dramatic as she could be.

"Just imagine," she began, her voice full of theatrical flair, "you and him... alone in an unfamiliar place, barely a soul around to interrupt you during-ahem ahem-well, you're clever enough to fill in the blanks, aren't you?"

Akshita choked on the air, startled by Amira's words. Did she really just say that? So openly? Her face flashed, equally embarrassed and shocked.

"Bhabhi! Think before you speak. And no, it's not what you're thinking," she snapped, her voice firm-though the turmoil twisting inside her didn't quite match her composed tone.

Amira just rolled her eyes, unfazed and amused. She knew this trip was going to be far from ordinary.

"Don't act like you don't know anything. There's nothing between us," Akshita huffed, crossing her arms defensively across her chest.

"And you don't say things you don't mean," Amira quipped, pinching Akshita's cheeks with a grin before slipping away, leaving behind a trail of mischief.

The moment Amira left, Akshita heard Chahat's voice calling her.

She walked over, and Chahat greeted her with a warm smile, cupping Akshita's face gently in her hands. "Apna dhyan rakhna. Aur agar uss nalayak ne tujhe zara sa bhi pareshan kiya na, we're just a call away. Okay?"

Akshita looked at her, eyes softening, her own heart swelling with an overwhelming, tender emotion. She simply nodded.

Chahat pulled her into a tight embrace-one that held all the comfort and warmth Akshita didn't realize she so badly needed.
