Author's Pov

After their heartfelt yet intense moment, Akshita and Avyay changed into fresh clothes before boarding their flight, though their hair remained damp, Akshita's especially so.

Both avoided each other, after their bold actions back in the rain. They weren't ready for it, they didn't thought they would lose themselves so much in that moment.

Akshita sat by the window, where a breathtaking view unfolded: clouds drifted lazily, birds soared in the distance, and the sky's vibrant hues thrilled.

Avyay sat beside Akshita, updating his family on their safe flight. After hanging up, he turned to her, but before he could speak, Akshita let out a loud sneeze, followed by a sheepish grin. She knew what was coming.

"I knew it!" Avyay exclaimed, his voice low to avoid disturbing others. "I told you aapki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi!" His face showed genuine concern, but his tone was laced with mock anger.

"But no, aapko kaha kisi ki sunni hoti hai! Now, how will you enjoy yourself with your health being the thorn in the flesh?" He scolded her affectionately.

"You don't *sneeze* worry, I'll mana...*sneeze* manage!" Akshita said, sneezing again, while wiping her nose with a tissue. Avyay shook his head, amused by her carelessness.

He took her hand in his and gasped audibly. "Your hands are freezing!" He began rubbing his palms against hers to warm them up.

Akshita stared at him, but Avyay didn't notice. He was too focused on making her comfortable. Akshita's gaze lingered, curious about why he was being so attentive... towards her?

"Um iski koi zarurat nhi hai. They're just sneezes, nothing major," Akshita tried to pull her hand away, but Avyay's grip remained firm. He shot her a serious glance, his expression brooking no argument.

"Shut up and let me take care of you. You're careless enough to neglect your own health."

Akshita felt a sting from his sharp words, but she knew he was right. She remained silent, but a warm feeling spread through her chest. Avyay's hands were a haven of warmth, providing the comfort she craved.

In reality, her entire self was freezing, but she didn't dared to say it aloud, the thought of his scolding kept her quiet.

Akshita gazed out the window, attempting to distract herself, though her hand remained nestled between Avyay's palms.

Meanwhile, Avyay instantly regretted the way he spoke to her, his eyes betrayed a flicker of guilt for his harsh words, but he knew they were necessary. She couldn't just keep risking her health.

A few minutes passed before Avyay's gaze returned to Akshita. He noticed her shivering, rubbing her hands against her forearm.

Without a second thought, he slipped off his blazer and draped it around her shoulders. Akshita's eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting the thoughtful gesture.

Akshita knew that Avyay was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. No one could match his thoughtfulness, the way he noticed tiny details, and ensured everyone's happiness without seeking recognition. It was a testament to the kind of exceptional man he was.
