Akshita stepped into her new room, and her heart skipped a beat at the sight of the decoration. Her lips parted slightly as her eyes scanned the surroundings, taking in all the details. She breathed in deeply, his scent mingling with the fragrance of fresh flowers adorned everywhere.

The air vibrated with anticipation, her future unfolding like a blank canvas. She glanced around; family frames hanging on the wall beautifully. She walked towards them, unknowingly creasing Avyay's face gently as a small smile tugged on her lips.

His belongings, neatly arranged there, made her a little impressed. She felt a flutter in her chest, a mix of nervousness and curiosity. There was a wide sofa as well in the corner, with a dim lamp beside it, casting a soft glow over the room.

She walked further entering the balcony as the moonlight hit her face softly, making her look majestic. She stared at the full moon looking back at her, a silent reminder of the long night ahead. Closing her eyes, she waited for the cool breeze to stroke her face as her swirls danced in the air.

Now she knew, she couldn't go back to her previous life filled with solitude. Though, the people who had started to become her family would not remain forever, she's happy to have them in the small part of her life. The love she received here is beyond anything. She would never forget how kind they were to treat a stranger like their daughter.

She went inside the room, amd sat before the mirror. Her eyes caught sight of the vermillion resting on her forehead, reminding her of the reality from now on. She started taking off the heavy jewellery, before going to take a shower to relax her muscles. Exiting the bathroom, she dried her wet hair with a towel, as she decided to arrange the jewellery.

The pure silence in the room was eating her up from the inside. She knew her husband would not come anytime soon because his cousins were busy giving him tips for his upcoming marriage life.

The flashes of thier wedding moments occupied her mind. His gestures were more then enough to make her think about them all day and night. Even, if it is a contract marriage, she was convinced it wouldn't be tough to spend few months with this man, who's making her chest flutter every next minute.

Grabbing the jewellery boxes, she strolled towards the cupboard and placed them in a corner. Releasing a heavy sigh, she settled down on the edge of the bed and closed her eyes, letting her brain process things and to let the reality sink in. And then suddenly, the realisation dawned upon her as her eyes shot open, staring at the bed.

There was only one bed!

She grabbed her head in annoyance and stood up in hurry before running her hand through her now dry hair. Just then, to her terror, the door cracked open, revealing Avyay with an awkward smile plastered on his face as he walked in, while Akshita mentally cried.

He walked towards her and stopped a few steps away from her. "Um... Hey!" Avyay spoke up and instantly regretted being so stupid, while Akshita smiled awkwardly. There was silence hardly for a minute. "The decoration is superb, right?" He tried to start a conversation. "Yeah, it's nice," Akshita replied, glancing around.
