"And these niggas from the other school talkin bout, 'they cheated.' How did we cheat? Yall niggas was jus ass." Day Day went on talking about the quarrel between the two teams after they won.

Talia rested her head on his shoulder while scrolling on her phone. Armon continuously stole fries off of Day Day's plate.

"They quarterback wanna fight me just cause I fucked his girl at this house party last summer."

"Armon you're such a hoe." Talia looked at him with disgust.

"And you a dumb bitch." He fired back. "Aye watch that bitch word." Dayton defended Talia.

Clayton made his way over to the table after throwing his trash away.

"Hey imma take the girls home, but I'll meet you back at your crib." He dapped up Day Day and made his way outside of the restaurant.

"You made any progress with asking Mi out to homecoming?" Dayton shook his head. "Nah I'm still trynna find a way for her to forgive me. She still mad about me ghostin her."

Mi'Angel tolerates Dayton but she doesn't like him. His presence, his voice, his face just irritates her.

"You needa get on it or it looks like imma be $1,000 richer homecoming night." Armon smirked.

"Hey Mi Mi." Dayton said sitting next to Mi'Angel. "Hey Dayton." She replied looking up at the basketball court. She didn't care about what was happening, she just wanted to avoid looking at him.

"Damn you using my full government name?" "Well isn't that your name?" She replied smartly and began looking at her nails.

"Well my friends call me Day Day." "Friends? I wasn't aware that's what we were." He kissed his teeth in response and his friends instigated.

"Dayum!" Armon and Talia said in a unison.

"Why you say it like that? I've known you since childhood."

"True, but you also ghosted me back in middle school, so are we really friends? I don't think so." Mi'Angel quickly got up from the bleachers and her friends followed behind.

"Imma be back. I need some food in my system." Clay rubbed his stomach and trailed off to get some food.

"You jus gon let shorty diss you like that?" Armon instigated.

"I ain't trippin. She just mad for now, but she'll forgive me." Dayton brushed it off.

"Bet $1,000 she won't before homecoming. Nah nah, she forgives you and you take her to homecoming."
