Originally, I was probably going to ask Mateo to tutor me again. Although, after what happened in the empty classroom a few days ago, it's now clear to me that it's a bad idea.
Ever since I told him that we shouldn't go back to him being my tutor, we have not spoken. At all.
No texts. No conversations. No nothing. Silence.
For a while it was him texting me and me never replying. Now, he isnt texting me anymore and neither am I.
I simply just dont know what to say, and it's mostly because im confused.
I know that when I kissed him it was pure alcohol.
Alcohol that completely fogged up my brain and led me to kissing my bestfriends brother....and my tutor.
Although, im not sure why Mateo kissed me. He wasnt drunk, he doesnt drink. Atleast I dont think he does, to me he doesnt really seem like the drinking type.
Im really confused on why he kissed me but honestly, the thing im more confused about is why I kissed him back, why I didnt pull away.
And if that bell never rang, what would have happened? Because, I have a few ideas in mind.
With all this confusion plus the fact that I havent told Lacy yet, I have been in my head all day.
Im at my locker thinking of what im going to say to Lacy when I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I turn around to see who it is only to not recognize her. She's a skinny blonde girl, and she's pretty short which is how I know she's a Freshman.
"Hey." She says. "Can I talk to you?"
"Who are you?" I ask, confused.
"Im Clara."
"Oh." I scoff. "What do you want?"
(A/N: Clara is the girl Matthew was seeing so soon after him and Bridgette broke up, incase you dont remember)
"T- to talk to you." Clara stutters.
"About what?"
"Well.. I wanted to apologize." She answers. "I didn't know you guys were together or I wouldn't have done it."
Something about the way what she just said was worded makes me do a double take. "What are you talking about? You have nothing to apologize for, its him that decided to date someone not even a month after breaking up with me."
Clara raises her eyebrows. "Thats what you were told? Sorry, I thought you knew."
"What?" I say. "What are you talking about?"
"On the first day of school he..started flirting with me and acting like he liked me so obviously I didnt think that he had a girlfriend."
...what.
"Then at the party that your friend threw a few month ago, I got very drunk and slept with him."
"The first day of school was almost a month before we broke up." I say, mostly to myself.
"I know." She says.
"Lacy's party from a few months ago was the same party that Matthew broke up with me at."
"I know." She repeats.
"Your telling me he was cheating on me?" I shout. "That he broke up with me and acted like he still loved me right after having sex with another girl?"
"...Yeah." She says. "I didnt know you guys were dating when I slept with him. He still hasnt told me, I saw you guys arguing in the hallway a while back. I ended it with him but I just thought I should apologize, and you should know what he did to you."
