In the dining area, the ambiance was lively with the clinking of utensils and the murmur of conversations. The men and Kiana were seated at the table, while Aarushi and Arya were busy serving the food. Aakriti and Akansha stood near their husbands' chairs, their presence looming with a silent formality. Buasa stood behind her big brother, Pranay, her posture respectful.
Kiana subtly gestured towards Arya, who responded with a discreet nod. Hrihaan, observant and wary, noticed their exchange and thought to himself.
Hrihaan( thinking):- Pakka je dono kuch toh karnama karne ki soch rahe hai,abhi bhalai chup rehne mai hi hai.
( They're definitely planning something. It's better to stay quiet for now.)
As everyone was engrossed in their meal, Arya quietly moved to stand beside Aakriti at a slight distance. When no one was looking, she pulled out a fake lizard from her pocket and flicked it towards Aakriti. It landed on Aakriti's foot, and she let out a startled scream.
Aakriti( shouts):- Bachao maare ko bachao atthe chipkali se.
( Help! Help me from this lizard!)
She leapt up, her veil falling off in the commotion.
Aakriti:- Koi toh bachao maare ko.
( Someone save me.)
Arya, struggling to hide her amusement, approached Aakriti.
Arya( hiding her smile):- Kaha hai chipkali.
( Where is the lizard?)
Aakriti:- Batthe.
(It was here.)
Arya followed the direction Aakriti pointed to, discreetly retrieving the fake lizard and hiding it.
Arya:-Badi Maasa idhar toh kuch bhi nahi hai.
( Badi Maasa,there's nothing here.)
Aakriti:- Aise kaise na hai batthe hi thi jab maine dekha tha.
(How can there be nothing? I saw it myself.)
Arya:- Par badi Maasa idhar kuch nahi hai.
( But Badi Maasa, there's nothing here.
Pranay, irritated by the commotion, addressed the group with sternness.
Pranay ( angrily):- Je sab tamasha band karo aur Aakriti bindni je ke hai tanne apni maryada na pata ke ,us din jab Aarushi bindni se bhul ho gayi thi tanne toh bada sunaya tha usne ab ke hua,ab thaari laaj kaha gayi.
( Stop this nonsense and Aakriti, have you lost your dignity? When Aarushi made a mistake, you made a big deal out of it. Now where is your respect?)
Aakriti:- Bhaisa galti hogi aage se aisa kuch na hoga.
( Bhaisa, it was a mistake. It won't happen again.)
Pranay:- Yaad rahe aange se aisa kuch na ho.
( Remember, such things should not happen again.)
Throughout the scene, Arya and Kiana exchanged amused glances, their enjoyment evident. Hrihaan, observing from the sidelines, mused to himself.
Hrihaan( thinking):- Je dono choriya marwayegi agar kisi ne pata chali ye inki kartoot hai toh je dono toh gaye, par chori mai dum toh hai seedha badi maasa se panga lene ka soch liya.
( These two girls will get us in trouble if anyone finds out their mischief. They're daring enough to challenge Badi Maasa directly.)
Despite his concern, a small smile crept onto his lips.
