It was daytime, and Mahir was sleeping while Aarushi had just stepped out of the shower. Her damp hair clung to her back, and as she moved, the sunlight filtering through the curtains made the droplets on her skin sparkle. One tiny drop from her hair slid down and fell onto Mahir's face, waking him. He blinked, his eyes drawn to Aarushi, who looked effortlessly beautiful, her wet hair cascading down her back, and the knot of her blouse left untied.

Mahir's gaze sharpened, and as Aarushi began tying the knot, he silently moved behind her. His fingers replaced hers, gently tying it for her. Aarushi gasped at his sudden touch, feeling the warmth of his fingers glide across her skin. Her breath hitched, and a deep blush rose on her cheeks.

Aarushi(softly, breathlessly):- Ye kya kar rahe hai aap?

( What are you doing?)

Mahir said nothing, tracing his fingers up her spine. Aarushi felt her nerves tingle with every touch, a mix of nervousness and excitement bubbling inside her. He slowly turned her to face him, his eyes dark with intent. He leaned in closer, his breath mingling with hers, lips almost touching...

Kiana(calling out):- Maasa.

They both jumped apart, Mahir clearing his throat and turning away as if trying to hide his embarrassment.

Kiana:- Maasa babasa ko kya hua wo aise khaas kyu rahe hai.

(Maasa, what happened to Babasa? Why is he being so special?)

Aarushi bit her lip, hiding her smile.

Aarushi:- Kuch nahi aise hi khaasi aa gayi,aap batao aap yaha kyu aaye.

(Nothing, he just had a little cough. You tell me, why did you come here?)

Kiana(innocently):-kuch nahi wo kuku ro raha hai,shaant hi nhi ho raha kab se use chup ho nahi ho raha aap hi dekhlo,maasa kuku bahut bigad gaya hai.

(Nothing, he is crying; he hasn’t calmed down for a long time. He won't stop. You see, maasa, Kuku has become very spoiled.)

Mahir walked over to her, scooping her into his arms.

Mahir(teasing):- Acha kuku bigad gaya hai aur aap,aap nahi bigdi aap taiyaar kyu nahi abhi tak school ke liye.

(So, Kuku has spoiled, and you haven’t spoiled? Why are you not ready for school yet?)

Kiana(giggling):-Babasa aaj school nahi hai.

(Baba, there's no school today.)

Mahir:- Ohh,aaj school nahi hai acha toh aap abhi kya kar rahe the.

(Oh, there's no school today. So, what were you doing?)

Kiana:- Mai kuku ke saath khel rahi thi par wo rone laga,aapko pata hai mujhe Arya kakisa ki yaad aarahi hai wo kab aayengi wo hoti toh mere saath khelti,maasa kaash meri choti sister hoti wo kuku ki tarah mujhe pareshan nahi karti,Aap mujhe ek choti sister lakar dona.

(I was playing with Kuku, but he started crying. You know, I'm missing Arya aunt; when will she come? If she were here, she would play with me. Baba, I wish I had a little sister like her; she wouldn't bother me like Kuku. You should get me a little sister.)

Aarushi's face flushed beet red while Mahir's lips curled into a teasing smile.

Mahir(smirking):- Ha Aarushi Kiana sahi keh ri se tu Kiana ne ek choti behan lakar dede use.
