Mahir stood impatiently, his heart racing as he waited for Aarushi to speak. She took a deep breath, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

Aarushi(voice trembling, tears flowing):- Mai aap par kaise vishwas karu Mahir ji ki aap mere saath apna bhavishya chalu karna chahte hai, kaise mai wo sab bhul jaun jo kuch aapne mere saath kiya hai, jane anjane jaise bhi kiya ho par aapki wajah se mujhe bahut takleef pahuchi hai Mahir ji.......mai wo sab kaise bhul jaun?

(How can I trust you, Mahir ji, that you truly want to start a future with me? How can I forget everything you've done to me, whether knowingly or unknowingly? Because of you, I have suffered so much pain, Mahir ji... how can I forget all of that?)

Her voice cracked, the pain of her past still lingering in her words. Mahir felt his chest tighten. Without saying a word, he stood up from his knees, the air heavy with tension. He stepped closer and gently, but firmly, held her hands on his own.

Mahir(softly, with determination):- Mai janu hu jo bhi maine thaare saath kiya wo sahi na tha, maari maasa ne jo bhi thaare saath kiya wo bhi bahut galat tha par mai thaare ko vachan deta hu aange se thaare pe koi takleef na aane dunga, thaari aankhon mai maari wajah se kabhi koi aansu na aane dunga.

(I know that whatever I did to you wasn't right, and what my mother did to you was also very wrong. But I promise you, from now on, I won't let any harm come your way. I will never allow tears in your eyes because of me.)

His voice wavered slightly, but the sincerity was palpable in every word. The warmth of his hands contrasted with the cool night air, a promise of security in the midst of her storm. Aarushi's tears continued to fall, but something in Mahir's tone made her pause.

Mahir:-Mai puri koshish karunga ki tujhe har wo khushiyan de saku jiski tu hakdar hai.

(I will do everything I can to give you all the happiness that you deserve.)

Mahir slowly bent down on one knee once more, the weight of his emotions almost too heavy to bear. From his pocket, he pulled out a delicate handmade ring, crafted with care and intention. The ring was simple yet meaningful, with "M ❤️ A" etched on its surface. It wasn't about the material it was about the love, the promise it held between them.

Mahir:-So I wanna ask you one thing Aarushi......please don't reject it.

His voice grew softer, almost a whisper, as he held the ring up to her, his eyes filled with vulnerability and sincerity.

Mahir:- Will you marry me....again?

The ring, with its personal touch, glistened faintly in the dim light, as if carrying the weight of his confession. Aarushi's breath caught as she stared at the handmade symbol of his love, and at the man kneeling before her, waiting for her response. The world around them seemed to fade, leaving just the two of them in that moment of raw emotion.

Aarushi stood frozen, feeling the weight of Mahir's words sink into her heart. Each syllable carried the sincerity she had longed for, the warmth of his voice melting away the cold walls she had built around her. Her heart raced, her pulse quickened, and her chest tightened with emotion. She took a deep breath, her fingers trembling slightly as she felt the raw honesty in his gaze.

Aarushi(whispering, her voice is soft but firm):- Yes... I will marry you again, Mahir ji... I will.

The words hung in the air between them, delicate and filled with promise. As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes, not from sorrow but from the release of the pain she had carried for so long. Her voice trembled with both fear and hope, the kind that comes when you're on the edge of something new and unknown.

Mahir's eyes widened in disbelief, his heart leaping in his chest as he absorbed her answer. He gently slid the handmade ring onto her finger, his touch warm and reassuring. As their hands touched, a spark seemed to pass between them a silent understanding, a bond renewed.

Mahir, unable to contain his joy, immediately stood up and wrapped Aarushi in an excited embrace. His arms pulled her close, holding her as if he never wanted to let go. Aarushi, surprised but relieved, melted into his warmth, resting her head against his chest. She could hear the rapid beating of his heart, matching the rhythm of her own.

Above them, the stars seemed to twinkle a little brighter, as if smiling down on the reunion of two souls who had been lost but had finally found their way back to each other. The moon, usually a silent witness to the night, seemed to blush, hiding behind the clouds as if to give the couple their private moment. Slowly, the moon began to disappear, casting the world in a softer glow, leaving only the couple in their intimate bubble of togetherness.

In the stillness of the night, the only sound that filled the air was the distant hum of a soft melody. As if by magic, the perfect song floated into the atmosphere, wrapping around them like an embrace of its own.

Chaand chupa badal mein,
Sharma ke meri jaana,
Seene se lagja tu,
Balkha ke meri jaana...

The lyrics, sweet and tender, seemed to capture the essence of the moment the shyness of the moon, the closeness of their bodies, and the love that was blooming between them. Mahir held Aarushi tighter, gently swaying to the music as if they were the only two people in the world.

Hey gumsum sa hai, gupchup sa hai,
Madhosh hai, khamosh hai, haan ye samaa kuch aur hai...

The silence around them felt almost magical, the world itself seemed to pause in reverence to their love. The soft breeze caressed Aarushi's face, carrying the scent of the rose in the air. Mahir's fingers brushed against her hair as he rested his chin on her head, closing his eyes, taking in the peace of the moment. For the first time, everything felt right. The pain, the distance, the misunderstandings they all melted away into nothingness, leaving behind only the pure connection of two souls, bound for a lifetime.

In that perfect moment, with the stars as their witnesses and the song echoing in the background, their hearts beat in unison, promising a future where love would prevail above all else.
