Before reading, watch the small video above and guess which couple they are, okay?It was late at night. A gentle glow from the small bedside lamp filled Aahir's room with a soft, warm light. Mahir was standing close to Aarushi, speaking to her, but she wouldn't meet his eyes. She looked away, as though the weight of his words was too much to face. Just as she turned to go lie down on the sofa, Mahir reached out, his hand wrapping gently but firmly around her wrist. With a gentle tug, he pulled her towards him, and in a moment, she stumbled forward, her face landing against his chest. She could feel the steady beat of his heart as his arms instinctively came around her, holding her close.
Aarushi whispered, barely meeting his eyes as she tried to pull away.
Aarushi:- Mahir ji chodiye mujhe, neend aarahi hai.
(Mahir ji, please leave me, I am feeling sleepy.)
Her voice was soft but full of sadness, and he could hear it.
Mahir murmured, his tone somewhere between pleading and firm.
Mahir:- Na,mai na chodne wala aur mai thaare se kitne din se baat karna chah raha hu tu sun hi koni rahi par aaj na,aaj maare ko jaane hai,ke hua?
(No, I won't let go. I've been wanting to talk to you for so many days. You're not listening, but today... today, I need to know, what happened?)
Aarushi's lips trembled, her eyes filling with tears she was desperately trying to hold back.
Aarushi:- Kuch nahi hua hai, mera haath chodiye.
(Nothing has happened, please let go of my hand.)
she said, her voice barely steady.
Mahir's worry deepened. His fingers softened their hold, but he didn't let go.
Mahir:- Na mai thaare ko dekh raha hu pichle 10 din se,tu alag bartav kar rahi se,kyu aise bartav kar rahi hai tu?Ke hua hai thaare ko?
(I've been watching you for the past 10 days, you've been acting differently. Why are you behaving like this? What's happened to you?)
His gaze was fixed on her face, full of worry.
Aarushi closed her eyes, struggling to keep control. Her voice broke as she spoke, her words almost swallowed by her tears.
Aarushi:- Kuch nahi hua hai Mahir ji,aap mera haath chodiye.
(Nothing happened, Mahir ji, let go of my hand.)
But her body betrayed her, and her shoulders began to shake as she finally let the tears spill over. She leaned into his chest, sobbing quietly, clutching his shirt as if he were the only thing keeping her from breaking completely.
Mahir felt his heart clench at the sight of her pain. His hand slowly moved up to her back, tracing gentle circles, hoping to ease her tears.
Mahir(softly):- Aarushi.......Aise ro mat,aur maare ko bata....Thaare ko ke pareshani hai.
(Aarushi... Don't cry like this, and tell me... if you're facing any trouble.)
He didn't push for answers this time; he just held her, his arms warm and steady around her, letting her cry out the sadness she'd been holding back.
When her sobs softened, Aarushi pulled back, her eyes red and swollen. Mahir guided her gently to the bed, sitting her down and offering her a glass of water. His eyes stayed on her, waiting, watching, letting her know he was there.
Mahir:- Ab bata ke hua?thaare konke pareshani se?Tu itni udaas kyu hai?
(Now tell me, what happened? Are you in some kind of trouble? Why are you so sad?)
