Kibishi's POV
Step! Step! Step!
Yosei was taking the lead as the four of us followed behind. Now that I have looked around, this place is surprisingly beautiful. It's too bad it's full of creatures.
Step!
"Okay! Just a few miles, and we'll reach the broken building!" Yosei says excitedly.
"That's what you said 30 minutes ago..." Jir says annoyedly.
"D-did I? W-well, we'll just keep walking then! It is close, though!" Yosei says with a nervous voice.
"We are getting closer, yeah," Jir says, then touches her chest. "It's faint, but I can sense the castle from here."
"That means that we're closer than we think!" Kuma said.
"Not that close, though. Come on, we need to focus." Tao mentions with a straight face.
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!
The girls started in front of me and ready their weapons.
Yup.
That makes a lot of sense. It's been a while, but it seems like they have returned.
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!
Slam!
A creature with a dog head, dog body, and octopus limps around its stomach to its back and slams its paw down-
"Raooorrr!!!!" The dog-like creature roars at us. We then saw a few plant creatures with human-like arms underneath their pots. They seem to have different colors but more or less the same thing. With them being planted, I mean. It looks like they're blocking our path to the castle, which shouldn't be that surprising. They're closing in on us, too.
"Looks who's back?" Kuma says with a smirk.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about these creatures," Jir says bluntly.
"Huh. Yeah, now that I think about it, getting attacked by these creatures doesn't seem more scary than those monsters." Kuma states while placing her right hand under her chin.
Leap! Leap! Leap!
"Focus!" Tao shouted.
Slash!
Tao slashes a plant creature and splits it in half.
"R-right!" Kuma and Jir say in a union.
Leap! Leap!
Slash! Slash!
Kuma and Jir slash two more creatures in half.
Leap!
Strike!
Clash! Clash!
Tao leaps backward and then grips the ground.
Dash!
Tao grips her sword as her eyes leave trails of light. Tao was going so fast that you could say she's like a bullet.
Leap!
Tao gracefully dodges a tensile and then thrusts her blade forward.
Thrust!
Guussshhh!!!!
Leap! Leap! Leap!
More creatures appear! Dang it, how many are there?!
