REALIZING YOU HAD feelings for someone you're in a strict sub/dom relationship with, was strange.
Firstly, realizing your feelings was strange because once Rin realized, he couldn't stop. He noticed the way Isagi's messy hair looked in the morning and he felt a small smile dance on his lips as the raven was hard to understand until he had his morning coffee. He noticed Isagi's tongue poked out the side of his mouth when he was writing and noticed how he played with his fingers when he was nervous. He started noticing everything about Isagi and felt horrible because he felt like he had kidnapped a part of Isagi and held him hostage in his mind. All day and night all he could think about was Isagi.
What was Isagi doing? Was Isagi happy? Did Isagi eat today? Does Isagi need more blankets on the bed? Is Isagi cold? Does Isagi like this for dinner?
It was plaguing his mind.
His stomach would flip when Isagi pulled him into a hug after a particularly long day, and when they were in the bedroom, that's when things got the strangest.
Because there was a checklist, a clear list of things they could do but when they were about to get down to it, Rin blanked.
Only one thought crosses his mind and it scared him because it was outside the premise of their agreed relationship. It scared him.

"When are we gonna have sex again?" Isagi whined, turning around to face Rin with a pout on his lips. "It's been weeks and I'm dying here."
Rin rolled his eyes, amused, "You're so dramatic. Now, sit still, I'm trying to work out this knot."
Looping a bit of rope around, Rin was almost finished the kinbaku design he was working on. He hadn't done it properly, Isagi's arms were untied but as they were watching a movie, Rin just wanted to work on the chest portion of the art.
"Riiiiin." Isagi looked up and attempted to give his best puppy dog eyes.
"You're distracting me." Rin warned eyes still on the design.
"That's a good thing right?" Isagi asked hopefully. Rin leaned forward and kissed his nose.
"We have to wait a while." Was all he said but he felt his heart speed up.
"Why? Is everything okay?" Isagi seemed really concerned, which made Rin feel even worse. He finished tying the knot, so the diamond chest, with flower weave design was finished. Isagi looked so pretty.
"I can't think of anything on your checklist I want to do."
Isagi frowned "What do you mean?"
Rin paused, still staring at the rope. He eventually glanced up and met Isagi's eyes which were creased with concern "I want to have sex with you, but I picture laying you on the bed, and- and kissing you. I picture you flushed, but smiling. I picture it soft, and quiet, and-"
