"WHY ARE YOU MAD?" Rin asked cautiously as he slowly walked into the kitchen, putting the hedgers on the bench.
Isagi stood with his jaw clenched, arms wrapped tightly around his body, and his foot tapping. Isagi's eyes were so dark, Rin wasn't sure he had ever seen him in such an angered stance. He felt as if he were approaching a rabid, wild animal. Ensuring his movements were slow and thought out, he etched closer to his lover.
"...Baby?"
This caused Isagi to snap, "Don't *baby* me, I can't believe you!" He threw his hands up, turning around to continue wiping the benches with a cloth and disinfecting spray. "We have guests coming soon and you aren't even trying to help me clean up."
"Hey, I am helping-"
"Yeah? You thought trimming the garden back at this time was the best way to help?"
Rin eyebrows creased as he tried to hide a smile. Isagi was acting like a little angry kitten with his claws out, he looked so cute. He held back his real reaction and held onto both of Isagi's arms.
"What's going on baby?" he asked, trying to get to the root of the problem; Isagi was usually a little more relaxed.
Isagi sighed. "They're my friends Rin, and they're going to watch me have sex," he exclaimed "and with you nonetheless."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Rin was quick to ask.
"Well you know Chigiri isn't your biggest fan." Isagi scratched the back of his head.
"I don't even know him! I- this would have been nice to know ten minutes before they come to watch us be intimate," Rin grumbled.
"Ten minutes?" Isagi looked up at the clock on the wall. "Fucking grab the mop."
Rin laughed but did as he was told.
"We can always call it off-"
"No, no. I really want- I want to do this." Isagi had an assuring smile on his lips.
The two spent the next few minutes sweeping and mopping the floor, following each other's movement like a well practiced dance. Rin could see the tension rolling off Isagi's shoulders and wanted to provide some extra support. "Trust me, they'll be more interested in watching you then staring at the floor."
"You think?" Isagi looked up with big eyes. Rin rolled his eyes.
"Oh don't act modest now, little brat." Isagi just grinned cheekily in response.
"Does he really hate me?"
Isagi sighed. "Well, he's- protective. I told him about - you know, and I guess he had some concerns for my well-being but I assured him we knew each other from school and-" he paused looking away with a blush on his cheeks, "you're sweet, kind, and caring."
