[ FLASHBACK ]—

“Jungkook!”

A voice cried from behind the walls, not much far from where Jungkook was
standing.

He lifted his head, and gave Lisa a piercing glare. “You’re not a damn
criminal.”

She went towards him and snatched the gun from Jungkook.—

“Revenge is different from justice
Jeon—”

“It’s just the same — revenge is just more brutal.”

Just awhile ago, Tae was kneeling down, begging him to drop the gun. But instead, Jungkook pulled the trigger that made Tae fall onto the ground.—

He did not shoot Tae, he just fainted out of fear. And Jungkook shot the bullet onto the side, not to Tae’s direction.

“I’m not liking the way you’re talking.” Lisa said, she immediately called the
callesa over.

Jungkook carried Tae on his arms.—♡

He hated the feeling. Coz you know what? He’s never thought of doing this.

Right after he went to the US, all he can think of was to go back and hug Tae,
give him kisses, and shower him all the love he had for him.

But it just hurts that they’ll meet again like this.

[ END OF FLASHBACK ]

“I checked on him, he’s asleep.” Lisa went inside Jungkook’s room. They’re
both currently living in the same house because of pretending.

Jungkook did not even spare her a glance and just continued doing
paperworks.

“I don’t need that information.”—

Lisa sighed, she sat on the couch in front of Jungkook’s desk to talk to him.

“You’re such a coward.” Lisa said, making Jungkook look up to her with an
annoyed expression.

“What is it again?” He asked, and dropped the quail.—

“You’ve told me how much you wanted to make the person who killed your
brother suffer. I’ve known you like my brother Jeon, and I also know that you
can’t hurt him.”

Jungkook didn’t want to talk about it, he continued to do his business and ignored Lisa.

“Shut up.”—

“The most common punishments for prisoners is getting beat up right? But
instead, you chose the thing with the water because you know that you can’t
stand seeing him being hurt.”

Jungkook glared at her, “Stop it, get out.” He ordered.

“Its true right?”—

“I mean you could already kill him that night, even If I stop you, you won’t let me. But you shot it on the ground instead—”

“Shut the fuck or I’ll cut your tongue!” Jungkook stood up in rage, slamming
the table hard.

Lisa knew she was right.—

“You don’t have the right to shout at me like that—”

“And you don’t have the right to dictate me about my life either!”

Jungkook was shaking in anger. Lisa had seen him in this state, but she knew
that he can be worse than this.—

But Lisa, she felt hurt, and offended. She knew that he’s gonna throw her some words but she didn’t expect this.
