“Excuse me, have you seen this guy? He’s this tall, his hair is—no? Okay,
thank you.”
Bogum bowed at the person whom he asked as a respect.
He sighed, he looked at the drawing he was holding — he drew a picture of
Tae to use it to find him.—
It was really cold so but his nervousness is making him sweat.
He’s been looking for Taehyung and asking people around if they’ve seen
him since this early morning.
After Tae told him that he’ll visit his mother’s tomb, Bogum couldn’t feel
relief and sleep anymore.—
He was anxious about what might happen knowing that Tae is now in more danger because of his father.
He didn’t get enough sleep because of waiting for Tae to come back, and now, he’s dead worried.
“Shit, Taehyung, where are you?”
He asked to himself.—
But even if he felt like crying in worrying, he still continued to ask people around about Taehyung.
He shows the picture, then describes him, but he can never be more sad every time they say that they haven’t seen him around.
He sat on the bench beside out of tiredness.—
“I knew it, I should’ve followed you. Damn it.” He cursed himself out of
frustration.
He should be in the market helping his mother and brother with their business, but he’s here feeling so down.
He felt his stomach groan. He realized that he haven’t eaten lunch yet.—
He was just about to stand up to atleast look for some eatery, he saw Jungkook from afar talking to those American soldiers with Captain Hugo.
Bogum didn’t know if he should tell Jungkook because he saw how he acted
that night.
But even so, he still needs to know right?—
As soon as he saw that they’re done talking, he quickly went towards them
and called Jungkook.
“Captain!” He cried, and Jungkook immediately turned to him. Nothing new, just the same old cold expression he’s known for.
“Its weekend, do I have a business with you?”—
Jungkook asked, raising a brow. Bogum immediately showed the drawing to
Jungkook and it made him confused.
“My apologies sir, but I lost Taehyung. He told me he’ll just visit his mother’s tomb last night but he hasn’t came back up to now.”
He explained.—
Jungkook felt quite caught off guard at the words. “Mother’s tomb?”
Bogum nodded. “Yes sir, his mother died just days ago.”
Thoughts ran to Jungkook’s mind. He hated that his heart felt soft just by
thinking how sad Taehyung might be.
But he quickly erased it.—
“I don’t need an apology. And I know where he is.” Jungkook said and was
about to leave when Bogum spoke.
“Y-You know where he is? Captain, can you lead me to him?” He asked, and
Jungkook looked back, but his expressions were unreadable.
Bogum gulped.
—
“I just want to see him sir, I was really worried.” Bogum pleaded, his heart felt like exploding knowing that he finally knew where Tae is.
