“Taehyung, wake up!”

Namjoon shook Tae who was sitting near the bed, head leaning on Jungkook’s hand while he hold it.

Tae opened his eyes, he fell asleep at exhaustion. The first thing he saw was
Namjoon, and Seokjin, then Bogum.

“W-Why?”—

Namjoon pointed onto a direction with his pout. Tae turned, and couldn’t feel
more joy when he saw that Jungkook has finally opened his eyes.

“Jungkook!” He cried and quickly stood up, cupped the younger’s face out of
disbelief.

“Hyung...” Jungkook mumbled.—

His eyes looked heavy, and he can
barely open it wide.

They were inside Jungkook’s house — in the bedroom specifically.

After Jungkook passed out, the authorities were certain that he did not
survive even if he chose the right cup.—

But the proof that Jungkook was still breathing gave them hope. So they
brought him to his house for a rest, a doctor with them too.

He was asleep for hours, and his heartbeat was irregular. There are actually times where his breathing would suddenly stop.—

But now he’s here — he’s awake. And all of Tae’s fears and doubts were crushed.

The doctor came up to them, it was Seokjin who called it with them because
his family has a position in the medical field.

The doctor checked his pulses, even his breathing.—

“He’s not yet stable, but better than earlier.” She said, as they look into
Jungkook.

His breathing was still heavy, and even tho his wounds are already bandaged,
it still looked painful.

“How are you feeling?” Tae asked with his soft voice.—

Jungkook paused for a little, taking breathes. “My vision is spinning, and my
head hurts. But it’s bearable.”

He said with his weak voice. He closed his eyes again as he saw images
spinning.

“I was right, both cups have belladonnas.” The doctor said.—

All of them looked surprised, but Jungkook spoke. “Yes, they lied. Both cups have belladonnas.”

Tae didn’t see this coming, but he knew that there was something odd. Because Jaewon wouldn’t offer it, if he knew that they won’t have a win with it.—

“I just chose a cup based on the color of it.” He explained even tho he’s still
feeling dizzy.

“It was a miracle that you survived.” The doctor commented.

Suddenly, the door flung open and it made all of them flinch.—

Trails of tears on her face, Lisa went forward, and flung a smack on
Jungkook’s arm.

“Ouch! What the fuck?” Jungkook cried in pain.

“Don’t ‘what the fuck’ me Jeon! You almost died and I don’t even know?!”
Lisa cried and hit him once again.—

“I’m alive okay? Calm do—ouch! Stop it you psycho!”

They’re like siblings whose fighting over who’s the most favorite.

“I told you to be careful didn’t I? I didn’t even know you wrote that goddamn
book?!”—

Bogum held her back, and Jungkook was really thankful for that. “I told you
calm down, I was gonna tell you eventually.”
