Chapter 21

Natuloy ang honeymoon nila. Kahit ilang araw ng delayed. Frigus really insist to held it abroad para maging okay daw sila. They'll consider it as a vacation.

"Your drinks, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin." The male flight attendant serve them drinks.

Frigus growled when he caught the male attendant looking at her. Siniko niya ito para sawayin. Nagmamadaling umalis tuloy ang lalaki.

"Kasal na ako sa 'yo, Frigus." Inirapan niya ito.

Umaliwalas naman ang mukha nito.

"That's right. You're married to me." Tuwang sabi nito at kumalma.

"But not for long." She teased.

Agad itong sumimangot.

Natulog lang siya buong biyahe para hindi masyadong makausap si Frigus. Frigus made sure she's comfortable sleeping. Binabasahan pa siya nito ng story sa makapal na libro para madali siyang makatulog.

Nang magising siya ay nasa ere pa rin sila. And Frigus is up because he's busy massaging her calves. Sumasakit kasi 'yon paminsan-minsan.

"You had a good sleep?" Masuyong tanong nito.

"I dreamed that we're annulled so yeah, I had a good sleep." She smiled at him.

Agad na sumimangot ito.

"That won't happen. Now that I recognized my feelings for you, I won't waste my chance as your husband." Seryosong sabi nito.

She just yawned. Wanting to sleep again and also to escape this stupid conversation.

"Sounds like my favorite lie. Inaantok na ulit ako." Sabi niya at muling pumikit.

Frigus sighed.

When they arrive in the city of love, dumiretso sila sa hotel. The bed is attracting her to sleep more. Kung dati gusto niya talagang mag-explore. New places excites her but now, sleep and eating is her new hobby.

Halos gapangin na niya ang kama para matulog. Frigus sighed patiently and remove her shoes and coat. Tuluyan na siyang nakatulog.

Paggising niya ay may naghahatid n ng pagkain. The man's feature is a Filipino!

"Hi! Salamat sa pagdadala ng pagkain." She beamed, excited for her food.

"Walang anuman." The bellboy said and put the tray on the coffee table.

Iyon ang naabutan ni Frigus. Nakanagiti siya sa lalaki dahil hawak kasi nito ang pagkain niya. Nagkasalubong ang kilay ng asawa.

She waved at the man goodbye. Mas lalong sinamaan ng tingin ni Frigus ang lalaki kaya nagmamadali itong umalis.

"You don't have to be mean." She rolled her eyes at him.

He licked his lips and even bit the lower part to stop his jaw from clenching.

"And you're not obligated to smile."

Sinimangutan niya ito.

"I am not obliged, yes but I wanted to. Pwede ba, Frigus? Mas lalo mo lang akong ginagalit." She hissed. Hormones and her anger is mixing so well.

Tumahimik naman si Frigus. Hindi na dumagdag sa init ng ulo niya. Pinagsilbihan na lang siya nito para makakain sila.

They decided to stroll around the city. First time niya sa Paris but she've been to other countries. Ito lang ang hindi because she promised that she'll go there with her husband.

Annulment. She didn't really mean it. She just asked for it confidently because she knew he won't give in. She just want him to learn his lesson. To realized that prioritizing his pride and ego won't always do him good. That his woman has also feelings and didn't just exist for his idealism.
