"Is there a problem, Attorney? Why have such a violent reaction on my boyfriend's word?" Mataray na tanong niya kay Frigus.

Frigus' jaw clenched. Bakas ang galit at pagkamuhi sa mata nito. Kaunting-kaunti na lang at itataob na nito ang mesa.

"Boyfriend? Kasintahan mo si Dozen?" Dozen's mother asked.

Hindi siya sigurado kung ayaw o gusto nito sa ideya. She's a famous doctor, kilala siyang tao sa city nila, his parent knows she's a good catch for their son.

"Yes." She answered even if it's better if Dozen answer the question but he seems to be careful around Frigus.

Nagkatinginan ang mag-asawang Sebastian. Parang nakukimbinse pero hindi makapag-desisyon dahil nandito ang pamilya ni Mariana. The parents of Mariana seems to be bothered.

"Don't fall on you son's scheme. They might just be pretending to call off his engagement." Frigus said.

She wanted to stop him from saying that because Dozen's parents bought his idea. Kung maniniwala ito sa sinabi ni Dozen, walang kwenta lang ang pagpapanggap nila!

She smiled sweetly at Frigus.

"Do you want me to kiss him to prove to you that this is real?" Nakangising hamon niya sa abogado.

Umigting ang panga nito at kumuyom ang kamao na nakalapag sa mesa. He seems to trying to maintain his composure because freaking out will affect his image.

"Do it and we'll cancel the engagement." Mr. Sebastian challenge them.

Lumingon siya kay Dozen. Dozen looked at her worriedly. She nodded. They already expected that this will happen so they planned that Dozen will kiss her on the side of her lips but they'll make it seems like he's kissing her.

"You're the sole legitimate Sebastian on our generation, right?" Frigus asked Dozen making him stop from almost kissing her.

"I am." Dozen responded to Frigus.

"Then, treasure your life because you're carrying the Sebastian's next generation on your useless balls." Frigus said.

Is he threatening Dozen's life? Sinamaan niya ito ng tingin.

Kung bawal siyang halikan ni Dozen, siya na lang ang hahalik sa pisngi nito. Pero bago pa man makalapit ang mukha niya ay may dumaan na tinidor sa pagitan nila ni Dozen. Napasinghap siya at napatingin sa tinidor na itinapon nito. Bumaon na sa pinto.

"Test my patience, woman." Frigus said then stood up.

"Mr. Benjamin?" Naguguluhang tanong ni Mr. Sebastian sa pagtayo ni Frigus. Hindi pa kasi tapos ang dinner, aalis na ito.

"Don't force your son to marry someone he doesn't like. And Mr. and Mrs. Tuazon, I know a rich man that's looking for a wife. She can be Mariana's husband. He's suitable for your liking." Frigus said.

Ni hindi makapagsalita ang apat na nakakatanda dahil sa gulat. Marian still remained calm thou but there's sadness on her eyes. Gusto siguro talaga nito si Dozen.

"What do you mean?" Si Dozen na ang nagtanong kay Frigus.

Frigus looked at Dozen blankly. Parang nabobohan kay Dozen dahil ang tagal maka-gets.

"You don't wanna marry Mariana, right? She's marrying someone else." Frigus said.

Nagsalubong ang kilay ni Dozen. Napabitaw siya sa paghawak sa braso nito dahil sa marahas na paglingon nito sa abogado.
