Kylie's pov.

Everyone's heads spun towards the source. I see Gally, gun at hand, raised towards where someone once stood. Chuck was on the ground. Thomas is hovering over him, crying. I run over and tore off my sleeves to try and stop the bleeding. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? DON'T TOUCH HIM!!!"

Thomas screams. "Thomas, we have to try and stop the bleeding in his chest. If we don't try, then we know that he died and we didn't try to help him. This way we know we did something." I say to him he nods and I hand him my other sleeve. We move his shirt to the side and a med jack takes out the bullet.

Thomas and I applied pressure to the wound. Chuck opened his eyes and Thomas smiled. "I had to save you." He said weakly. "What do you mean?" Thomas had more tears trickling down his face. "It would have hit you." Chuck says before his eyes close once again.

Before anyone could say anything the doors were knocked down. Men in black navy uniforms started to take us away, one by one into the helicopter. I ran to Newt and that's when I noticed that someone impelled Gally with a sharp wooden pole. I smiled as the men took us away from this bloody hell.

Where we will hopefully have a long happy life. But here, I don't trust anyone......

The End

Hey guys. This is the end of The Unexpected Maze Runner. Thank you for sticking through to the end even with the terrible update schedule. I will make a Sorch Trails and Death Cure too, but not for a while I need to put one of my other books on hold cuz I have no ideas for it and I have like 3 other stories that I want to write on this but I can't even update 1 or 2 stories. So tell me what you think or thought. Thank you again for sticking with me. Bye.
