Newt's pov.
I hold Kylie's hand as we run through the maze. Turning corner after corner. Finally we stop at the Blades. We start to walk to save our energy. With our spears at hand, we reach the greiver hole. We slowly walk towards it. Then we heard the unmistakable sound of the Grievers clicking on the cement.
4 Grievers are climbing up the walls towards us! As soon as they reach the edge, we attack. Screams bounce off the walls as some Gladers fall. Minho, Haley, Kylie, and I are pushing one off the edge as others push their slime buddies over. There is only one left.
But before we can even think of attacking, someone runs up to the greiver and hits it over and over again and it screams. A metal claw grabs the person, ready to eat him. Alby. "Alby!! Noooo!!" I scream. The others soon realized this and we screamed his name.
"Go. Escape. Get out. Don't let me die for no reason. NOW!!" Alby yells as he is lifted higher in the air. I nod and we all run pass them. But before we make it to the computer, another greiver jumped off the walls. "Kylie, Haley, Chuck. Go put in the code." Minho screams as he dodges a claw.
They run towards it and type in the words. "AHHHHH." Kylie punches the wall. "What?" Frypan yells. "It won't type in 'push'. Godammit." She yells again. "Try pushing the button on the wall." Chuck suggested pointing the wall to the left. Haley runs over and stabs the button with her pointer finger.
All the Grievers fell to the ground. "Muh mur muhhh." I heard something from under the slimy creature. I carefully lift the end with my spear and see that the greiver fell right on Minho. "Ewww. That was gross." Minho complains like a 4 year old. We just laugh.
