The Unexpected Maze Runners

Chap 12: New Gladers

-???- pov.

       I was in a metal box. It was moving upwards. It was very dark but not pitch black. I could make things out. I could see that there were lots of supplies like boxes and crates filled with heavy objects. I could also make out another figure.

      I slowly crawled on my hands and knees over to it. I lightly shook them. When they didn't wake up, I shook harder and whispered "Wake up. Wake up." Soon they sat up and looked around us. They turned to me and asked "Who are you? Where are we? Why can't I remember anything besides my name?"

         Now that I thought about it I don't remember anything besides my name either. "I don't know." Thats all I could say. I was speechless. Their voice sounds like a guys so I assumed they we're a boy. We sat there for like 15 minutes until we could see a slit of light though the roof. It got bigger. We squinted and covered our eyes with our arms, it was so bright. The first thing that I saw about 40 or so boys and 2 girls in the front.

       The only boys that caught my eye, though, were two boys. One with dirty blonde hair and a square jaw. The other one was Asian with black, silky hair. Then I looked at the other boy in the box. He had blonde, shaggy hair and was like 6'3 or something.

        A boy with blondish hair and big muscles jumped down and said, "Welcome to the Glade, Greenies." He held out both hands, one to me and one to the boy. I took it. Once I did the boy next to me hesitated, but did. The boy pulled us up and out of the box.

         The dirty blonde one, the Asian one, and the two girls came over to us. Everyone else went back to whatever they were doing. "Welcome, Greenies. I'm Minho. This is Newt." Minho said as he pointed to the dirty blonde one. "That's Kylie." He pointed to the dirty blonde girl. "And finally, Haley." He smiled as he pointed to the brown haired girl.

        "I'm Hunter." The boy next to me said. Minho wrapped his arm around Haley and pecked her lips. My heart shattered. Hopefully Newt isn't wi....... ARE YOU KIDDING!!!! Newt did the same with Kylie. My heart felt like its been shattered a million times. I walked away to a dude named Alby to give me a tour and blah blah blah.

-time skip- dinner time

       I really like Minho and Newt. Their hot. I need to get the girls out of the picture. I need to get them either in trouble or break up willingly. Dout that will happen but it might. You never know.

        "Hey, will you please tell us your name?" Kylie asked. We were eating the dinner that Frypan made us. Burgars, green beans, and pasta. "Ug. Fine. Its Melody." I grumbled, clearly annoyed by her. "Thats pretty." Haley said finishing her food up. I grumbled and walked to the room we shared and fell asleep thinking of how to get those boys.

Hunter's pov.

       Melody seems to hate everyone. I like Minho, Newt, Kylie, and Haley. They are very nice people. They are my favorite people in the Glade, its called right. I got a job as a runner after I ran to catch a small and slender builder. He slipped on a food package while working on the Homestead roof because of a leakage.

      Melody got a job as a slicer. I have no idea why. I have no idea what they did when she was there but when I was, they were killing animals. And pulling their guts out. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! (I just threw up in my mouth a little) But whatever.
