After arriving home with the knowledge that Olivia wouldn't be too far behind, Scarlett sets an almost subdued Aurora onto the couch before crouching down in front of her. The little one stares up at her with an unsure look on her face, prompting Scarlett to reach up and gently cup her cheek, the pad of her thumb trailing gently over the soft skin.
"Mama's going to get started on some lunch whilst we wait for mommy to get home. I think all three of us need a refresh of the rules. Would you like to stay here and watch your show, or sit in your sling in mama's arms?"
The sling in question was a relatively new purchase courtesy of Olivia. It was like your regular intended baby carrier for actual infants, only a little bigger in size. Aurora had only been in it twice, and getting her out was a challenge each time. She loved how close it made her to her mommies. Especially when it gave her free reign of their boobies..
Aurora's faces flushes just slightly at the mention of the rules, fully understanding, despite her regressed state, that she was in trouble for the stunt she'd pulled at the mall. Knowing she had a little time before that inevitably happened however, she reaches for her mother without any hesitation.
"Mama." She murmurs pleadingly, and Scarlett nods in understanding as she stands and grabs the specially made baby swing from the coffee table. It was still there from this morning, after the little one had refused to be put down whilst she made breakfast.
She manages to slip it on with ease, kneeling down on the floor to help Aurora step into it before returning upright. After situating the material so there was enough beneath the little one's behind to keep her supported, she tugs on the two loose pieces of material and tightens it until Aurora was flush against her chest.
"There we go," Scarlett muses with a smile as the little one buries her face into her neck, hand once again sipping down her shirt to rest against the swell of her breast. "All snug as a bug, mhhh?" She gives the little ones behind a few gentle pats.
Aurora nods her head as she nestles herself contently against her mamas neck with a content smile on her face. After pressing her lips in a tender kiss against the little one's forehead, Scarlett makes her way through to the kitchen with the intention of starting some lunch.
Scarlett opens the refrigerator door, eyes skimming over all of the ingredients laid before her. Knowing that a sandwich would probably be the quickest and easiest, she pulls out some butter, ham and cheese and sets them all down onto the counter along with some bread before heading over to the sink to wash her hands.
It was no more than ten minutes later that Scarlett hears front door open and close signalling that her wife Olivia, was finally home, prompting her to set down the knife she had been using before heading out to greet her. Olivia was still clad in her scrubs with a tired but satisfied look on her face. When she catches sight of her two favourite people before her, her lips quirk up into a soft, knowing smile.
"You just couldn't resist, could you?" Olivia teases as she makes her way over to the duo, placing her lips against the corner of her wife's mouth in a soft kiss before doing the same to the side of Aurora's head.
"She wanted mama." Scarlett whispers with a pout, and Olivia rolls her eyes playfully as she kicks off her shoes and makes her way through to the living room.
Olivia sits on the couch first, gesturing for her wife to follow by patting the seat next to her. Scarlett complies, gently easing Aurora out of the baby sling and onto her lap. The little one lets out a slight whine of disappointment as she was forced out of her safe place, lips forming a gentle pout. All it takes was one knowing look from her mommy before the pout disappears and a nervous look replaces it.
