the words echoed in her head as her heart dropped. she stared at him with unreadable eyes which he looked up at her trying to read her for an emotion.
"urara-"
"why? did i do something?" she cut him off, asking him with a slightly sad tone.
"no you did nothing i swear! you're perfect really!" midoriya quickly defended.
"then why?" uraraka stared at him wanting answers to why he had just shattered her heart.
"i-i-" he stuttered.
"just tell me!" her voiced raised, anger and sadness filled her systems.
"i like someone else...a-and something happened that made me-"
uraraka feels her vision go blurry as big tears clung onto her eyes. her ears started ringing as she could hear midoriya rambled in the background. she couldn't concentrate.
"im so sorry uraraka, i didnt mean for anything to happen and i still really like you just not the way you like me and..."
his words still echoed throughout her mind no matter what else he said.

tears now stained her face as she turned, almost robot like, away from him. her eyes were wide with realisation as she stood up.
"uraraka? are you okay? youre shaking, w-wait where are you going?"
she turned towards the door almost in a trance and not wanting to look at the boy she once called her boyfriend. the boy she trusted and felt safe with. the boy she loved.
his words were nothing background noise, she didnt process any of them as she swung the door open.
"come back im sorry! please i didnt mean to!"
as quick as the door was open, it was shut. leaving a guilt-ridden midoriya, small tears now forming in his eyes.
