CHAPTER 26 | day two |

it was the next day, aizawa had woken them all up at 6:00 to get started on their training which, let me tell you, was hard work as the whole class was complaining, except iida who was unnaturally excited.
they had been working on their quirks and physical strength for the past 5 hours, all of them quickly becoming exhausted so aizawa gave them a short break to get something to eat before the fitness tests.
todoroki and midoriya still hadn't spoken since the 'incident' from yesterday. midoriya had explained the whole thing to iida, while aoyama was asleep, who listened and gave advice. he also then awkwardly broke the news that him and uraraka were now dating accidentally adding salt to the wound. midoriya was obviously very happy for them but that didn't take the pain away from losing his best friend.
aizawa had kindly provided some simple sandwiches and cans of different fizzy drinks as he knew they probably wouldn't have the energy to make themselves a quick lunch.
midoriya sat on a bench next to the new couple, eating a ham sandwich with an orange soda. iida and uraraka were chatting to themselves, mostly nervously flirting with each other, while the greenettes attention was situated elsewhere.
since the friendship break up, todoroki had become closer with yaoyorozu in only a night. he must have went back to her tent last night after i left him, midoriya thought to himself, watching the black haired girl laugh at what todoroki was saying. midoriya scoffed, rolling his eyes and turning back to the couple to join in their conversation.
a blonde watched, silently from next to his girlfriend, midoriya become irritated over the dual colour haired boy so he made a mental note to ask his tent mate what had happened. sure it wasn't his place but that didn't stop him from being nosy. was it because of me? it can't be i've not done anything wrong! whatever i don't care but if stupid icyhot did anything to hurt izuku im going to fucking kill him. bakugo thought, his fists and teeth clenching at the idea. he felt a squeeze on his arm from the pink haired girl next to him, trying to calm him down.
he pulled his arm from her grasp and stormed off without a word, earning a few confused looks as he hasn't had an outburst in a while.

the class continued doing fitness tests and physical training for the next 6 hours. after they had finished they were all extremely exhausted so aizawa gave them a 2 hour break before they had to cook their dinner.
most of the class went for a nap while the rest sat around the camp, chatting with each other about what they were going to cook for dinner.
