BlackBird moved past Tallpines. Being on his own made his heart race. Finding these cats was his goal to protect everyone from danger. Just like he failed with WolfSpider. BlackBird let his paws guide him to where he thought he could find the group of cats. The size of the pawprints made him think dogs may have gotten them. Was he too late? He shook the thought away and continued on. He noticed more and larger dog pawprints and started to become more concerned. He sprinted through the forest faster and faster. He could not have been too late. He cannot be. He stopped in his tracks and saw a few strands of white and gray fur lying around. MountianCreek! He thought rapidly and followed his trail of the scent of his fur. He sprinted along as fast as he could before meeting his greatest doom. The tiny rats that once probably injured the missing warriors crawled onto BlackBird. Though those cats were in a group, BlackBird's alone. He swatted the rats away with his unsheathed talons. They were soon gone but not before BlackBird was badly injured. The blooded wound rushed down his shoulder as he hobbled in a small den. He passed out soon afterwards.
