--- Author's POV ---

The time flew , yes it literally did. After the family meet , everything went smooth. Both families started preparing for the wedding. Their engagement was done in Joshi house only as they didn't wanted to invite more people and to keep it secret until the wedding.

Engagement was done after 2 months of the family meet. All were happy, especially Shivika and Aadarsh. They both met atleast once a week and their bond got strong. They were supporting each other. May it be shopping, relayed to office work, personal issues everything .... They were like long distance husband and wife but still not married !

Preparations were going on full in josh and speed in both families. For both families this was the first wedding in house so obviously everyone wanted everything to be perfect. Kamal Joshi was the happiest. It was his only daughter's wedding and he wanted it to be perfect. He decided to hire the best wedding venue , best decorators, best caterers just best in everything .....He loved his daughter but sometimes his words were totally different as you all have already witnessed.

Here Shivika was happy, excited, tensed, nervous and what not. Everything was done according her and Aadarsh's choice. Yes they both decided the decorations, wedding food menu and many more.

Shivika started to worry about money. Yes money, for middle class family money is important. If there is a daughter in family then they have to save money for her marriage. Every parents dream is to see their daughter's marriage without any lacking. Same were Shivika's amma and appa, they wanted best for their daughter's marriage.

Shivika didn't let her father pay for everything. She wanted to pay for many things but her parents didn't let her saying 'save all those money , it'll be helpful', still Shivika did pay for some and her parents couldn't say no.

Every daughter thinks that I guess. That her wedding shouldn't be burden on her family especially with money. In this era, everything is expensive , even if the bride has many dreams about her wedding she keeps it to herself by thinking about the families situation. If the groom and his family takes care of their daughter, keep her happy that's what a daughter's parents want right ? To see their child happy and leading their life without any issues.

Joshi house ---

The house was full of people. Kamal and Sarla Joshi invited all of their relatives to their only daughter's wedding. Every where people sitting and chatting. It was mehendi day and all ladies were getting ready to apply mehendi.

Shivika got ready in a half sleeve, blue colored anarkali. She didn't wear her duppatta as it would disturb her. Her cousins and Saarika helped her to get ready for the day. The function started at 3 PM as there were many people who wanted apply mehendi. The artists started applying mehendi to Shivika first. She chose the designs by herself and it was surprise to Aadarsh. He did ask her about designs, but she kept it surprise.

"What's your husband's name didi ?" one of the artist asked Shivika write the name.

She was about to say but Saarika interrupted saying "Arey , how can she say her husband's name that's a sin !"
