--- Author's POV ---

It's an usual morning in Bharadwaj house. Already it's been 15 days of the wedding. The marriage vibes were still lingering around them especially Shivika and Aadarsh. They were enjoying each and every moment with each other and also with family. In this 15 days Shivika completed another ritual where she had to go to her parents house and come back. Aadarsh didn't even like that a bit. He was very upset ...

--- Flashback ---

"Shivika get ready to go your house" Gayathri said confusing all people present at dining table.

"What house ? she is in her house only" Aadarsh said with confusion.

"I mean to say she has to go to Joshi house, stay for some days and come back" Gayathri explained.

"What ! Why ?" Aadarsh exclaimed. "It's a ritual" Gayathri said in a strict tone.

Aadarsh didn't talk back as he knows what would be the consequence of it. He helped Shivika pack her bags without his will. He was sulking all the time ... 

"What happened ?" Shivika asked not able to see his sulking face. 

"I don't want you to goooo" he said expressing his disinterest. 

"I'll be back in no time, I promise" Shivika said while cupping his face. 

"You really have to go ?" Aadarsh asked again showing his puppy eyes. Shivika couldn't resist that cute face and kissed his cheek. 

"Yes Aadarsh , I have to go. And I'll be back in a day, Okay ?" She asked. 

"Okay fineeee..... But I need something so that I won't miss you for a day" He said in excitement.

"What do you want ?" She asked.

"A loooongggg hug and a kiss" He said with a smile. She chuckled. "Okay" She said.

"But after completing the packing" she said with a smile. He just nodded and they both packed her luggage.

"Now come on, give me what I asked" he said and opened his hands for a hug.

She hugged him by encircling her hands around his torso and keeping her head on his chest exactly above his heart. She smiled hearing his heart beat. They both hugged for almost 7 to 8 mins. Shivika broke the hug and looked at him. He smiled admiring her. They both were looking in each other's eyes. No on broke the eye contact. Just then Shivika leaned in and pecked his lips. Aadarsh was shocked at her gesture. He couldn't intake what just happened ...

"Wh-at ?" Aadarsh stuttered not knowing what to say. Shivika just smiled at him.

"You asked and I gave it" she said with smile on her face.

"Ye-ah, but I thought you would kiss on cheeks" he said regaining his ability to think and speak after her stunt. 

"Why ? Can't I kiss on lips ? Okay then , I won't from now on"  Shivika said and was about break the hug but he tightened his grip on her waist by pulling her towards him.
