Oscar waits for the bus like he does every morning. When he gets on, he sits in the first seat at the front, by the window, pulling up his hood and bringing his knees to his chest. The seat next to him is empty, reserved for his best friend Logan. Behind him sits Arthur, and next to Arthur is Fred.

Before the doors close, Lando gets on. Oscar lets his head fall onto his knees, hoping Lando will pass by without noticing him, but Lando doesn't miss the chance to tease him.

"Morning, Aussie! Don't sit like that... it makes me think even your loser friends don't want to talk to you anymore," says Lando, pulling Oscar's hood down and giving him a little push.

Lando then goes to the back where he sits with his group. Max, Charles, Carlos, George, and Alex watched the whole scene closely and started laughing, congratulating Lando. Oscar's eyes began to tear up, and he realized it would be a long day without Logan, who always stood up for him.

When they arrived at school, Oscar ran to his locker, trying to avoid Lando's group... but he didn't succeed. Lando appeared behind Oscar and pushed him hard, face first into the locker, then laughed and walked into class.

Blood started dripping from Oscar's nose, so with no choice, he went to the nurse's office. After patching him up a bit to stop the bleeding, the nurse came back with a note excusing him from the first class. "Seriously, Oscar, we usually see each other twice a week, but now this is the fourth time. As much as I like having some company, this isn't okay."

Oscar smiled shyly and left. When he got to class, the period was already over, but he still sat in the third row by the wall. Behind him sat Alex, who made sure to kick his chair during every lesson. Behind Alex was George, and next to George was Lando. Oscar wasn't surprised that this group sat in the back or that they disrupted the class; what surprised him was that Lando knew the right answers when asked a question.

At lunch, Oscar sat alone, waiting for his friends in the cafeteria. Lando's group showed up and spilled their milk all over Oscar's clothes. Everyone laughed uncontrollably except for Lando, who just pretended. Oscar ran to the bathroom, where he chose to stay locked up for the rest of the day until it was time to leave.

Oscar was a bit late for the bus, trying to avoid Lando and his friends. They shouted at him from behind, insulting him. Fred sat next to him and tried to encourage him, but Oscar just sat there with his knees to his chest, hood up, staring out the window, crying. He got off at the same stop as Lando. He tried to walk faster to avoid dealing with Lando, but Lando put his hand on Oscar's shoulder and stopped him.

Lando had taken off his hoodie and was holding it in his hand. He looked Oscar in the eyes and asked if he could take off his hoodie too. Oscar agreed, and Lando put his own hoodie on Oscar. "Take care of it, Aussie, I'll want it back," was all Lando said before going into his house, leaving Oscar speechless.
