Oscar woke up with a pounding headache, his body aching, and his mind a foggy mess. The sunlight streaming through his window felt like a searing blade against his eyes, forcing him to squint and bury his face deeper into the pillow. Every movement felt heavy, every sound too loud, and he struggled to piece together the events of the previous night. He tried to remember the faces, the music, the laughter, but everything came back in bits and pieces, fragmented like a broken mirror.

His phone buzzed on the nightstand, but even that noise felt deafening. He groaned, reaching out with a shaky hand to grab it when a knock came at his door. "Oscar, you awake?" It was Arthur's voice, muffled but concerned.

"Yeah... come in," Oscar managed to croak out.

Arthur entered, closing the door softly behind him. His face was etched with worry, and that only made Oscar's anxiety spike. "You alright? You look like you've been through hell."

"I feel like I've been hit by a truck," Oscar muttered, slowly sitting up and leaning against the headboard. He rubbed his eyes, trying to remember more of last night. "What happened? My memory is all over the place."

Arthur sighed and took a seat on the edge of the bed. "You don't remember much, do you?"

Oscar shook his head, feeling the dizziness still swimming in his mind. "Not really... I remember going to the club with Lando. We were having fun, and then... it's all just... blank."

Arthur hesitated, clearly trying to find the right words. "After a while, Lando lost track of you. He went looking, but by then, someone else found you first." He paused, watching Oscar's reaction.

Oscar's heart sank. "What do you mean 'someone else'?" He could feel panic bubbling inside him, the dread knotting in his stomach.

"There was this girl... she took you upstairs. Carlos was with Lando at the time, but I heard him telling Lando that you were making out with her." Arthur's expression darkened. "But from what others said, you were in no state to do anything willingly, Oscar. I think someone put something in your drink."

Oscar's breath hitched as flashes from the night surged back. The girl, the dizzying feeling, trying to push her away, thinking only about Lando. He clenched his fists in the sheets, the realization crashing over him. "Lando... what did he do? Where is he?"

Arthur sighed. "I stayed with you last night, made sure you got home safe. But Lando... he left the club. He looked hurt, man. Really hurt."

Oscar scrambled out of bed, almost tripping over himself in his haste. "I need to see him, now." He threw on the nearest clothes he could find, not caring about his appearance. "He has to know that I'd never do something like this, that it wasn't my choice."

Arthur stood, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I believe you, and I know Lando will, too. But be careful, Oscar. Carlos is trying to stir trouble. He's been hovering around Lando since last night."

Oscar's eyes narrowed with determination. "I'm not going to let Carlos ruin this for us. Not now, not ever."

--------------------------------------------

Lando hadn't slept at all. The entire night, he'd been pacing his room, replaying every moment of the night in his mind, trying to piece together some version of the story that made sense. His eyes were bloodshot, and exhaustion weighed heavily on him, but he couldn't rest. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Oscar with that girl, felt the sting of betrayal.

But deep down, he refused to believe it. Not Oscar. Not his Oscar.

Carlos, however, had been relentless, lurking around like a shadow. "You know," he started, leaning against the doorframe, "sometimes you have to face the truth, Lando. Maybe he's not as perfect as you think he is."
