**Brittanys POV**

I hang up on Danny, there is no way one little bite can make you feel like that. I'm not falling for it.

"Fine." I huff at Blaine, "bite me, so I can prove to Danny that it's just all in her head." I sit down next to him, swiping my hair off my shoulder so he can have access to my neck.

"No." Blaine crosses his arms over his chest, pouting like a teenage girl.

"What do you mean no? You can't tell me no!"

"I just did." He sticks his tongue out at me.

"I want you to mark me!" My eyes widening as the words leave my mouth.

"I know you do, but for the wrong reasons."

"It's not for the wrong reasons if we are mates, right?!" I scoot closer to him on the couch, our arms touching as the electric currents flow through us.

"You only want me to mark you, out of spite." He gives me a look that tells me he isn't pleased with me right now.

I huff, my turn to cross my arms over my chest, "fine then."

"You change your attitude and maybe you can convince me to mark you, but until then it's a no." He shrugs nonchalantly as I give him my best glare.

"You are being ridiculous!"

"That's not helping you." He smirks at me, only making me angrier. I don't like to be told no, especially after he's been begging to kiss me and mark me since we left his party.

"You are infuriating." I seethe, before standing up, "take me home."

"You are home." He rolls his eyes, like we've had this conversation forty times before.

"Take me back to my house!" I glare at him.

"Your house is empty."

"What the fuck do you mean my house is empty?" My eyes widening in surprise.

"I had my pack members move all your stuff over here today while we was out in town earlier for lunch." He shrugs, like it's no big deal.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I scream, my chest heaving as adrenaline runs through me.

"We are mates, Brittany." He rolls his eyes, before turning them back to the television behind me.

"You arrogant asshole! I told you, that I did not want to move in together! Then you send your little minions to go rob my place and bring all my stuff here? Are you out of your fucking mind?" I yell, flailing my arms around as dramatically as possible.

The next thing I know Blaine has me against the wall, one hand fisted in my hair holding me so he can stare into my eyes, the other resting against the wall trapping me there, my eyes wide with shock as I stare into his pine colored orbs.

"I'll put up with a lot of shit from you, but disrespect is not something I'm going to tolerate. I am an Alpha, and you will treat me as such." His eyes darkening even further and I find myself in a trance, "am I making myself clear, mate?" His lips hovering just centimeters from mine.

"Crystal." I gulp, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disrespect you." My eyes glancing down at his lips, I really really want his lips pressed against mine right now.

"I'll forgive you this time, but it better not happen again." I barely hear him, so focused on his lips. I can't help but want them against mine. My hands twitch at my sides, wanting to reach up and pull his lips to mine.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" His lips curve into a smirk, his eyes watching my every reaction, I've been caught.

"N-n-nothing." I stutter out, my cheeks flushing.

"Really? Doesn't look like nothing from the shade of red you are turning." He hums out, his eyes twinkling in amusement. He had let my hair go at some point, both his hands pressed flat against the wall on either side of my head, I could get out if I wanted too, but that was the problem. I don't think I want to.

He leans in even closer, his lips barely grazing over mine and I intake a sharp breath, "you know, if I didn't know any better, I'd think the mate bond is pulling you in. Just 20 minutes ago I couldn't beg you to kiss me, and now it's all you want, isn't it?" His voice velvet smooth as he taunts me.

Snap out of it Brittany! You cannot let this control you!

"Yes." The word slips off my tongue before I can stop it, because frankly, I didn't want to stop it in the first place.

He smirks, "I want to hear you say it."

My mouth drops, is he serious right now? He's gonna make me beg? I would just shove him away and stomp off pretending I didn't want a kiss from him anyway, but something keeps me grounded right there, this magnetic energy not letting me act like I normally would. He reaches out, pushing a strand of my curly hair behind my ear in the softest caress I've ever felt, "I'm waiting."

"I want you to k-k-kiss me." I stutter out, cheeks flaming red, my eyes still locked on his lips.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" He taunts me further and I am getting more and more fed up by the second. Before I can tell him exactly where he can kiss, his lips crash down on mine.

His lips mold against mine in a way that I can't describe, it's like he was built just for me. His hands move from the wall, one wrapping around my waist and pulling me in closer, the other tangling in my hair to angle my head so he can kiss me deeper, and to say I'm melting into his arms is an understatement.

He pulls his lips away from mine, his bright green eyes gazing into my chocolate brown ones, "you keep this up, and maybe I'll give you that mark."

I want to roll my eyes and tell him I don't want that stupid mark anyway, but his lips reattach to mine in another hot kiss before I can, and I'm not willing to end this kiss for that.

***Dannys POV**

Colby comes down out of the office to find me on the couch, mindlessly scrolling through TikTok.

"Whatcha up to?" He questions before plopping down beside me.

"Just scrolling, waiting on Brittany's 'I told you so' call even though we all know she would be lying." I laugh.

"What do you mean?"

"I called Brittany to see how mate life was going, and she has stubbed up and won't even let Blaine so much as kiss her. So I told her to get the mark to prove to us it doesn't mean anything, there is nothing she loves more than a challenge. So now I'm waiting or her to call so I can brag about how I was right."

"You challenged her into letting her mate mark her?" Colby chuckles.

"Exactly. That stubborn woman just doesn't know how to accept a good thing." I sigh with an eye roll.

"Sounds like someone else I know." Colby replies with a raise of his eyebrows.

"It's not the same." I defend myself.

"Oh it's not? Should I warn Blaine to make sure she doesn't have any guns lying around before she shoots him too?" His eyes twinkling in amusement.

"I told you I was sorry!"

He laughs, "it's okay, I'm just teasing you now. I hope Brittany gets her mark and they live happily ever after."

"I hope so too." I smile, cuddling into his side.

"Want to go get some dinner?" He asks, his fingers twirling a strand of my hair.

"Dinner sounds nice." I smile, "where do you want to go?"

"Let's go to the new steakhouse in town. I could go for a juicy steak." He stands up, pulling me off the couch and toward the door.
