It feels like it has been hours since I watched those doors swing closed as they rushed Colby into surgery. I hit my knees as the door closed and stayed there until Blaine picked me up, sitting me in a chair in-between him and Brittany. Brittany holds me close, running one of her hands through my hair, whispering about how he's going to be okay.

The door into the waiting room flings open, Caleb rushing in with wild eyes searching the room before landing on me, he's dragging a beautiful blonde headed woman behind him. He lets go of her hand, rushing to me and pulling me into a rib-popping hug, squeezing the air out of my lungs.

"Don't crush the baby!" Brittany jumps up to rip us apart but Caleb drops me as quick as he picked me up, his shocked expression even more shocked now, "Baby?" He questions.

I nod, I would cry more but I physically can't, "I'm pregnant Caleb."

His arms are around me again, not as tight this time but he's hugging me again anyway. "He's going to pull through this Danny. He's going to. You all will make such great parents."

I nod against his shoulder, hugging him back. I notice the girl he brought watching us wearily, she seemed so out of place and nervous. I let go of Caleb and walk over to her, her bright green eyes meeting my chocolate brown ones. "Hi, I'm Danny. I'm sorry we had to meet like this, but you must be Caleb's mate?" I ask, reaching out my hand for her to shake.

She shakes my hand, "I'm so so so sorry about your mate. Yes I am Caleb's mate, I'm Georgia."

A wave of nausea crashes over me again, and in a flash I am hurling into a nearby trash can. Blaine is beside me, holding my hair back and telling me it's okay. I finally stop, my hands gripping the sides of the trash can as my whole body shakes.

"You need to rest Danny. This isn't good for the baby." He tells me, stroking my hair as he stands beside me.

"I'm not going anywhere Blaine." I shoot a glare at him.

He sighs, "Colby is going to kick your ass for not going home."

"He will just have it to do." I huff, as I go to sit back down beside Brittany, who is already talking Georgia's leg off.

I lay my head on Brittany's shoulder, and she looks at me in surprise, I'm never one to initiate some physical contact but I'll be honest, I'm drained and I can't hold myself up any longer. She wraps an arm around me, holding me close to her side and giving Caleb and Blaine a worried look when they both glance in our direction from where they're fighting across the room in whispers.

"You two can stop your hushed arguing." I whisper, my throat is scratchy and hoarse from all the crying, "neither one of you are making me leave."

"Danny. You need to go home and rest, this is too much stress for the baby." Caleb says as he takes the seat next to me.

"Caleb, I'm not going anywhere."

Caleb and Blaine share a look before Blaine shakes his head, making his way across the room to where I'm at, "please don't make me drag you out of here." He whispers.

I flip the ripped edge of my dress up, flashing the thigh holster with my Glock still snugly inside, my eyes burning into Blaine's as he glances down at my thigh and back up to my face, "I said I'm not going anywhere."

He sighs in defeat, "at least eat or drink something Danielle."

"I'm not hungry." I shake my head, the thought of food making my stomach turn.

"Danielle." Caleb starts in on me next, "the baby needs fluids and nutrients."

Within a flash I have Caleb by his shirt collar, my face inches from his as anger takes over my whole body, "my mate could be dead for all we know right now. Please stop hounding me about what's best for this baby."

He's shaking, a fear in his eyes I've never seen before and Blaine gently pulls me away from him.

"I'm sorry." I shake my head, bringing my knees to my chest as more tears pour down my face. I rest my head on my knees trying desperately to pull myself together.

"Salvatore Family." A nurse calls from the desk and I nearly trip over my own feet getting there so fast.

"Is he okay?" I rush out as soon as I reach her desk.

She gives me a small smile, "he's alive."

More tears flood my face, this time happy ones though. I follow her as she leads me down a long hallway and into the room my mate is being treated in.

"The doctor will be around shortly." She gives me another smile before pushing open the door and allowing me inside. Colby is asleep still, but I find comfort in the steady rise and fall of his chest. His face is scratched and he has a deep gash in his forehead that has several stitches. I walk over to the edge of the bed, lifting back the blanket a little to check his wound on his stomach. My stomach churns at the sight of the deep wound across his abdomen, stitches and staples holding the torn skin together.

"Couldn't wait for me to wake up to undress me?" His voice startling me. He's smirking down at me like he didn't just about die before my eyes.

"I thought I was going to lose you." I whispered as more tears stain my cheeks, leaning down gently to kiss him.

"Are you okay?" He asks, scooting over on the bed and having me to lay with him.

"I'm okay." I nod.

"Did you really tell me you're pregnant or was that some low blood induced hallucination?" He asks, his hand splayed across my belly.

"I did tell you that." I nod, "you're going to be a daddy." I give him a weak smile, best I can do for now.

His lips press against mine again sweetly, "I'm so sorry Danielle. I should have never taken you there."

"Who would've saved your ass if you hadn't of taken me?" I give him a small smirk.

"I'm never going to live that down, am I?" He chuckles pulling me closer.

"Nope. First story I'm going to tell our baby is how I saved its daddy from a sure death." I giggle back at him.

"I love you Danielle." His eyes twinkling as he looks down at me, "would you marry me?"
