Tw: Ed, sh, panic attack
Y/n was cold, she was always cold, but she didn't care, because it meant that it was working. Of course, the young knew what she was doing to her body and how much damage it could do. But nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. She repeated it like a mantra over and over again.

The girl walked the 5 kilometers to the clinic, like every day, not knowing that her life would be turned upside down today.
"Y/n?!"
A car stopped next to Y/n with squeaking wheels
"Dr Shepherd, what are you doing here?" The girl shifted nervously from one foot to the other.
"I could ask you the same thing. Get in, I'll drive you to the hospital, you're assigned to work with me today anyway."
In order not to arouse suspicion in Amelia, Y/n got into the car. What the young doctor didn't know was that Amelia's suspicion had been aroused for a long time. She saw how Y/n never ate and when she did she went to the toilet straight after, how thin she became, how her hand was red and cracked and how her body was letting her down. Now that Y/n was also walking to work, Amelia was sure of her suspicions.
"Thanks for driving, that really wasn't necessary!"
"No problem"
Y/n stood up and had to hold on to the car door. The black dots threatened to take over her field of vision.
"Y/n?"
"Y/n, open your eyes. Please stay with me! Open your eyes, sweety"
Amelia quickly put Y/n back in her seat. Her pulse was low, dangerously low. She quickly paged Meredith. She came shortly after.
"Amelia, is everything OK? What's wrong? Has something happened?"
Meredith came running
"I'm fine, but Y/n is unconscious, but she still has a weak pulse. We have to take her to a treatment room."
"Why not to the ER?"
"Do you remember when I told you about my suspicion? I want to talk to Y/n about it first before I hand her over."
"Yes - but you don't really believe that?No that can't be true, or can it? Our Y/n?"
"It can happen to anyone, Meredith..."
Amelia pov:
It hurts to see Y/n like this. I try to suppress the thought that I should have noticed earlier, but deep down I know how much Y/n has done to ensure that no one notices.
I lift Y/n up bridal style. She weighs nothing. I'm only now really aware of her condition. We have to act.
"Do you need help carrying her?"
"No, she weighs practically nothing. But could you please signe Y/n and me out for today?"
I lay Y/n down on the cot in a somewhat secluded treatment room. I quickly lock the door, even though I don't think she would be able to run away. But adrenaline can do wonders...
We wire up Y/n completely and take her blood. Her results are frighteningly bad and in a dangerous range. Y/n finally seems to be slowly regaining consciousness.
"Hello sweety. Calm down. It's just Meredith and me. You're in a treatment room because you fainted in my car, remember?"
"Yes and I'm fine. I have to go now"
Y/n tried to sit up, but I pushed her back onto the lounger.
"Y/n, you're not fine! You stay here until I say otherwise"
