Hi,I just wanted to come on here and kinda talk/vent about stuff that has been happening recently, that you all have probably heard about. I also want to say that this is a safe space and if you want to talk just place a comment or send a message.

So first the stabbing in Southport. This situation really is terrifying to me, just the fact that these little dancers were having a fun dance class and then there was someone coming in stabbing them. I dance myself and the studio is a safe space for me, so for people to ruin that space for other people is shocking to me. Also the fact that a I believe 17 year old guy just stabbed 8 kids and 2 grownups, killing 3 kids in the proces. I must say that I felt really weird after hearing the news, even though it's a different country than where I live, I personally felt unsafe and I can't even imagine how people feel that live close to the area or around that studio.

Then I also want to talk about the Vienna shows. First I want to say that there is probably a lot of misinformation out there and if I say anything wrong please point it out to me. I am incredibly happy that the plans were stopped before the shows started and I completely understand the decision to cancel the rest of the Vienna shows, how devastating it may be to the fans going to them.

So for the people who don't know, I will try my best to explain everything here, or as far as the news has covered it.

So on the day of the first concert in Vienna news came out that there was a planned terrorist attack, police arrested two suspects but Taylor and her team have made the hard decision to cancel all the Vienna shows, due to the extra risk, because there were still people who knew about the plans of the two guys, but they weren't an active risk. So today it was revealed that the two men had made the plan to drive a car into the lines of swifties waiting to go into the stadium. At least one of them was hired as security inside the concert and he planned to kill as many people as possible with a knife, before blowing himself up with a bomb, killing as many people as possible with him.

This is obviously terrible, but luckily they were stopped before they could work out their plans. I can't imagine what the people that were supposed to go to these shows are feeling and the extreme scare they must have had knowing that all that could have happened.

I was not supposed to go to a show there, nor do I know someone who was, but even I have been having increased anxiety just thinking about it. I went out with a friend today and all I could think about was maybe I sould not wear my friendship bracelets today, just in case. This might not be just me and I completely understand if it might feel the same to someone else and if you would like to talk about it please reach out.

There have been a lot of people online organizing stuff for the people whose shows were cancelled, for example I saw someone stream an old livestream and dress up in the outfit he would have worn to the show. People have also been gathering in Vienna and singing Taylor's songs. There is police supervision there, but if you don't like crowds or are scared something might happen, you don't have to go and if you do, please pay attention to your surroundings. I want everyone to stay safe:)

We don't know if they specifically targeted swifties or just a large crowd, but it's scary anyway especially with the Southport incident earlier. I believe I saw something about targeting woman in general, but I'm not sure if this information is correct, so if anyone is sure, please let me know.

So far there is no reason for the London shows not to happen, this terrorist attack seemed to be specifically in Austria and there are no ties to England, but there haven't been any official announcements about it yet. I would say it's normal to feel a bit anxious or scared going to the show, so once again if anyone want to talk about this, due to feeling anxious about it or anything please reach out, it's better to talk about it then to keep it all bottled up.

I always say this but I'll say it again, please stay safe everyone, and take a little extra care of yourself🫶
